SRINAGAR, (SANA): Foreign Minister Hina Rabani Khar has invited All Parties Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani to visit Pakistan.

Spokesman of the amalgam, Ayaz Akbar told media that Pakistan High Commissioner, Shahid Malik extended invitation to Geelani at his Malviya Nagar residence.

“The decision on invite of Pakistan will be taken in Majlis- Shoora of the amalgam after arrival of Geelani in March in the Valley,” he said.

During the meeting, Akbar said, Geelani asked Malik to apprise the world about the human rights violations allegedly committed by forces in Jammu and Kashmir “You should step up diplomatic efforts to build pressure on India for resolving Kashmir issue. This time, the need of the hour is to apprise the world about sufferings of Kashmiris,” Ayaz Akbar quoted Geelani as saying to Malik.

“Pakistan has always supported Kashmiris at moral, political and diplomatic level,”Geelani said during the meet.

Calling for inclusion of Kashmiris in talks, Hurriyat (G) chairman said bilateral engagements between India and Pakistan have proved futile in the past.

“Dialogue process can be made result-oriented only by inclusion of Kashmiris as history stands testimony to the fact that more than 150 rounds of bilateral dailouge in the past had proved futile,” he said.
The spokesman said Geelani also said there was no justification for United States resolution on Balochistan as “majority of Balochis want to live with Pakistan”. “Need of the hour is to heal wounds of Balochis,” Geelani said.

“We will continue to support the right to self determination movement of Kashmiris and there is no change in our stance on Kashmir,” Shahid Malik , according to Akbar told Geelani.

Pertinently, two days ago, Pakistan extended invitation to Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and his executive council to visit Pakistan.

Or you could leave him and his land alone and keep your money for yourself. His land generates great tourist revenue so your arguement about paying for his medical bills is lame.

His land ?.He is not the Maharaja of Kashmir.

He doesn't own Kashmir. The last Maharaja of Kashmir was Maharaja Hari Singh and he lawfully acceded to India. Geelani is just another resident in the Indian State of JK.
