Mistakes happen.
Not a big deal at all.
Bangladeshi women would wear sleeveless tops and shorts instead. The hijab is just an archaic and misogynistic practice that has no place in modern society.
Then the Muslim world is backwards and should change. The idea of covering up a women from the male gaze as if they were property is honestly disgusting.Nope, it has a place in Muslim world, and I would say that more women wear hijab than the ones who doesnt wear it, at least in Indonesia it is true. Are you a woman ?

You lose me when you make posts regarding blanket statements on Bengalis.
The spectrum of thought amongst Bengalis is wide as I know is with Pakistanis.
Its not exactly fair to label Bengalis as one thing or another when there is such heterogeneity of thought amongst us.
The reality is Bengali society is more or less conservative and Islamic.
There are of course many outliers.
But to suggest anything else is incorrect.
So you call those articles evidence? Because these were written by Hindus ? You also can search google by writing , rabindrantha the herald of religious unity " you will find many articles that refute such defaming articles .
However from your quote I find know blasphemy against Muhammad (pbuh) . And here his criticism was for christianity too . And it is actually related to Muslim rulers , not directly to islam or prophet (pbuh) , so it can not be called any type of blasphemy .
However start with this , and search more .you will find many refutation .

@Pan-Islamic-Pakistan
They were betraying, backstabbing and killing Muslims like true munafiqeen. Inshallah, they will be resurrected as munafiqeen and given what they deserve.
Whether Raja Dahir was a usurper or not, whether people revolted against him or not, what has that got to do with this discussion.
I was responding to your sly and smartass remark in post 43, as if Bengali and Indian Muslims had hindu mushrik past but Pakistanis were muslims from day one.
Even the Prophet (SAW) was born in a mushrik family, his parents were mushrikeen and many ulama hold that they are in the fire. Abu Bakr Siddique, Umar, Usman, Ali and all sahaba RA were mushrikeen before accepting Islam. All muslims of today including the Arabs had Mushrik ancestors.
Raja Dahir was a hindu, there were many hindu temples in Sindh, many hindus were captured as slaves indicate there were many hindus in Sindh. There were also buddhist, Zoroastrians and indo-aryan religions as you say, but that does not make any difference. As per Islam all of them were mushrikeen. So, your sly remark indicating Bengalis and Indians had hindu ancestors does not earn you any point, your ancestors and the ancestors of the Arabs were also mushrikeen. And for your information Bengalis were mostly buddhist, not that it makes any difference.
Fair enough. My post was directed at only those with a particular line of thought.
He referred to the soil of Islam as only capable of producing a thorny plant without fruit.
He was openly venomous against Muslims and especially their political rights.
He was in close alliance with many other anti-Muslim leaders throughout India.
He was an Islamophobe, through and through just like those rascals Ambedkar, Patel, and other Congress leaders.
Actually, he is idolized by Bangladesh’s state because in reality he was the first Bangali nationalist and had an agenda to promote the distinctness of Bangalis from other Muslims.
He is nothing.
Lol. I don’t even know how to reply to this.
Such idiocy.
Leave Pakistani history to Pakistanis.
Pseudo-history and fear-mongering typical of Hindu zealots. He also here makes his hate of Pukhtoons evident.
Dr. Munje said in another part of his report that, eight hundred years ago, the Hindu king of Malabar (now Kerala) on the advice of his Brahmin ministers, made big favor to the Arab Muslim to settle in his kingdom. Even he appeased the Arab Muslims by converting the Hindus to Islam to an extent to making law for compulsory conversion of a member of each Hindu fisherman family in to Islam. Those, whose nature is to practice idiocy rather than common sense, never can enjoy freedom even if they are in the throne. They turn the hour of action in to a night of merriment. That’s why they are always struck by the ghost at the middle of the day.”
“The king of Malabar once gave away his throne to idiocy. That idiocy is still ruling Malabar from a Hindu throne. That’s why the Hindus are still being beaten and saying that God is there, turning the faces towards the sky. Throughout India we allowed idiocy to rule and surrender ourselves to it. That kingdom of idiocy – the fatal lack of commonsense – was continuously invaded by the Pathans, sometimes by the Mughols and sometimes by the British. From outside we can only see the torture done by them, but they are only the tools of torture, not really the cause. The real reason of the torture is our lack of common sense and our idiocy, which is responsible for our sufferings. So we have to fight this idiocy that divided the Hindus and imposed slavery on us……..If we only think about the torture we will not find any solution. But if we can get rid of our idiocy, the tyrants will surrender to us.”

Muslims cannot be loyal to India, and are agents of other Muslims and foreign countries. Currently trending Hindutva propaganda has gone into overdrive, pioneered by Tagore.
A very important factor which is making it almost impossible for Hindu-Muslim unity to become an accomplished fact is that the Muslims can not confine their patriotism to any one country. I had frankly asked (the Muslims) whether in the event of any Mohammedan power invading India, they (Muslims) would stand side by side with their Hindu neighbours to defend their common land. I was not satisfied with the reply I got from them… Even such a man as Mr. Mohammad Ali (one of the famous Ali brothers, the leaders of the Khilafat Movement-the compiler) has declared that under no circumstances is it permissible for any Mohammedan, whatever be his country, to stand against any Mohammedan.”Rabindranath Tagore, Interview of Rabindranath Tagore in `Times of India’, 18-4-1924 in the column, `Through Indian Eyes on the Post Khilafat Hindu Muslim Riots. Also in A. Ghosh: “Making of the Muslim Psyche” in Devendra Swamp (ed.), Politics of Conversion, New Delhi, 1986, p. 148. And in S.R. Goel, Muslim Separatism – Causes and Consequences (1987).
Explaining to Hindus how to fight Muslims, whom he portrays as tyrants and the enemy. Foretelling Muslims will again humiliate and enslave Hindus.
The terrible situation of the country makes my mind restless and I cannot keep silent. Meaningless ritual keep the Hindus divided in hundred sects. Sop we are suffering from series of defeats. We are tired and worn-out by the fortunes by the internal external enemies. The Muslims are united in religion and rituals. The Bengali Muslims the South Indian Muslims and even the Muslims outside India-all are united. They always stand united in face of danger. The broken and divided Hindus will not be able to combat them. Days are coming when the Hindus will be again humiliated by the Muslims. “You are a mother of children, one day you will die, passing the future of Hindus society on the weak shoulders of your children, but think about their future.” From the letter to Hemantabala Sarkar, written on 16the October, 1933, quoted in Bengali weekly `Swastika’, 21-6-1999
Still here @Atlas @Avicenna @Bengal71 choose to idolize an avowed enemy and hater of Islam.
If only Tagore were alive today to relish in the servitude and self-inflicted slavery of Indian and Bangladeshi Muslims, he would have no fear for his beloved Hindu zealot cadres.

Rabindranath Tagore is not our idol, just respectable person and a great Bengali poet. I am fan of his literature. However what you are posting not new to me. In Bangladesh a huge number of intellectuals are anti Tagore, even some attention seeking seculars too.choose to idolize an avowed enemy and hater of Islam.

Whatever you say, there is no way we all will start hating Tagore just because he was a Brahma/Hindu. We do not have to hate Tagore to appease other Muslims (read Pakistani Muslims). We think of his positive contributions to the Bengali language. He never spread hate against the Muslims with his great writings. Religion is his personal matter, we do not have to hate others because of religion.@Pan-Islamic-Pakistan
Again to @Pan-Islamic-Pakistan. Note the bold part, I did not say Bengali literature but said of Bengali language. This language has a long history but it was not that strong what we see today. Bengali grammar was only created sometime after 1905 at the Fort William College in Calcutta. This is the main founding step to create a strong language that we can see today.Whatever you say, there is no way we all will start hating Tagore just because he was a Brahma/Hindu. We do not have to hate Tagore to appease other Muslims (read Pakistani Muslims). We think of his positive contributions to the Bengali language.
