Just to be clear, Hezbollah did not identify specific targets that they would strike in case Israel stopped the fuel tanker. That was done by Hezbollah activists on social media. Hezbollah did warn Israel against stopping the fuel tanker and threatened it will have a say if it did. Which could mean military reprisal of some sort.

However, all of this has no meaning if it docks at Syrian port. Since fuel is regularly smuggled into Lebanon from Syria and it wouldn't change equation of game. If it is going towards a Lebanese port, than it is a whole different scenario.

my guess , it won't dock at Lebanon , it stay several km away at sea and they use fleets of smaller ships to unload the diesel

Makkah is a large province, the King Fahd Air Base is located in the province, a super air base use to launch air operations in Yemen. Probably trying to deny operations in the base.

sadly they get their Fateh-110 from Syria which is first generation and they are not pinpoint accurate , the missiles we provided them are of shorter range but a lot more accurate and honestly , they can use the drones Yemen used against KSA oil industry and let the chemical and fuels do the rest of the job also majority of Israel infrastructure are in range of Iranian missiles and there is no need for such not so accurate

The first Iranian fuel oil cargo secured through Lebanon's armed group Hezbollah will be delivered via Syria by truck to avoid complications related to sanctions, two sources with knowledge of the matter said on Thursday.

Hezbollah, a heavily armed group founded by Iran's Revolutionary Guards in 1982, announced last month that a shipment of Iranian fuel oil was on its way to help ease crippling shortages in Lebanon.

Hezbollah's foes in Lebanon have warned of dire consequences from the purchase, saying it risked sanctions being imposed on a country whose economy has been in meltdown for nearly two years.

"Choosing to receive the vessel via Syria is not related to any fear of targeting by Israel or the U.S. but is due to internal considerations related to not wanting to implicate any allies," one source told Reuters.

Lebanon's caretaker energy minister has said his government did not receive any requests for import permits for Iranian fuel.

The sources said the shipment would arrive at a Syrian port and then be trucked to Lebanon, with the first priority being to deliver fuel oil to hospitals for power generation.

Fake drama be design, US already approved these shipments of diesel because Lebanon is crisis and they can't have collapse of Hezbollah, which is suffering from local tensions and improper governance. Just like they didn't allow collapse of Assad regime.

As I said, Hezbollah will do stunt, lie to public, and in the end transport fuel via Syria. Israeli's will want to boost their reputation and start praising them in their media as making 'game-changing' moves. They try to deliver to each other artificial victories. Cargo ship will be unloaded in Syria, Israeli's can do strikes in Syria if they suspect any weapons or weapon tech shipments involved. Hezbollah won't do anything if that's the case. Whereas if it docked at Lebanon, one of the two sides will have to call their bluff.
