The news is awesome .. but i dont understand why it a has a religious twist in it.

Was the rescuer aware/ asked the religion of the victim or the thugs before rescue or what??/

Well if you watched the video, you will knwo that the Jewish person was beaten BECAUSE he was a Jew. They kept highlighting his religion and saying things like you killed Jesus e.t.c.

So the REscuer definitely knew that he was a Jew and still no one in the train except he helped him.

Just shows that how badly the media has been biased against muslim that the rescued Jewish person had to highlight in the interview and say that a muslim saved us. It was the person who was rescued himself who higlighted that.

This guy was incredibly brave & has my utmost admiration for his actions. Absolutely amazing since he seems very slight of build & to take on multiple attackers who were probably much bigger than him requires a heck a lot of courage. Even though he got beaten up, he showed a lot of character since he could obviously see the risks but decided to do what he did anyway.

However I must ask why this video posted in December 2007 is being treated as a current event.
