Head to head: Hina Rabbani Khar

.
Shook my head the entire conversation. We first saw Asad Durrani make a fool out himself and now we have to put up with this idiot doing the same thing.
"I-I wasn't in the room!". Pathetic.
Honestly, they should have just replaced this idiot with that panelist Musharraf Zaidi.

Her interlocutor pretty much interjected every time she tried to respond, he definitely is not the easiest person to dialogue with to be fair yet still I felt she handled herself rather well btw I am in no way a fan of this lady.kudos

In a show called "Head to head", barely holding your own is nothing commendable.

I think you are being a bit too harsh on her btw I thought Asad Durrani the old fox did just fine in exquisitely Machiavellian manner.kudos

It's not about how we view it but how the audience views it.
Sure you won't find anything wrong with Khar telling us that she wasn't in the room when Gilani was blathering on about how he doesn't mind drones in private and when Durrani tells the world that the Taliban were popular freedom fighters in Afghanistan, but to the a predominantly Western audience, it sends a bad image.

In the globalised world it's not just the west that is the be it and end all of every conversation, besides do not underestimate the western audience they are far more balanced than we may like to think with the exception of Fox news viewers of course.

If the discussion is taking place in London, I think the opinion of Londoners attending the discussion should be taking into account.

I'd say that a leftist Western audience would be even more critical of Pakistan than a group of right-wingers watching Fox news.

The lady was clearly out of her depth.

She was rocked & had little to say as she was ' not in the room' !

Deriding an ex colleague (Def Minister) is definitely below the belt & in poor taste.

All in all she was attempting to defend the indefensible and she failed.

On what basis would the left be even more critical of Pakistan than the right?
