more than 600 people disqualified. It doesn't mean we are afraid of them, or they are bad people. even 8 number is too big, we expected less candidates.

I don't think I can ever see the logic in your system.. the whole point of an election is for the people to decide who they want as a leader, not that a group of 10-20-100 people should decide on their behalf. It's called an election, not decision.

If less candidates are desired, a more democratic system is needed to select the most popular ones.

از اونجایی که فارسی متوجه میشید به فارسی میگم دوست عزیز
دموکراسی به مفهوم ازادی که هر کسی خواست بیاد کاندید بشه مردم بهش رای بدن دروغی بیش نیست در تمام دنیا
شما خیال میکنی تو کدوم کشور دنیا اجازه میدن هرکسی خواست بره کاندید شه؟
طبق امار رسمی در تمام کشور های دنیا بیش از 70 درصد جوامع افرادی هستن که از نظر درک اجتماعی ، در سطح پایین تری قرار دارن.
یعنی توی یک جامعه ممکنه 70 درصد افراد اون به یک انسان نامناسب برای دراختیار گرفتن حکومت رای بدن و قطعا توی رای گیری 70 درصد بر 30 درصد تحصیل کرده و با شعور پیروز میشن
به همین دلیله که توی هیچ جای دنیا از امریکاش بگیر تا افغانستان و بورکینافاسو کسی که خواهان به دست گرفتن حکومت میشه باید یک سری شرایط از پیش تایین شده داشته باشه تا بتونه مورد رای گیری مردم قرار بگیره هرکی از راه رسید که نمیتونه کاندید بشه مردم بهش رای بدن. شاید یکی کاندید شد نصف بیشتر مردم به خاطر قیافه اش بهش رای دادن اونوقت نباید یک صاحبی تو مملکت باشه جلوی همچین چیزی رو بگیره؟ حالا که شما اینو در مورد ایران میگید به خاطر اینه که امریکا و سایر کشور ها این بخش انتخاباتشون رو کلا مخفی نشون میدن یعنی به دنیا گزینشی بودن انتخابات رو نشون نمیدن و تنها کشوری که جرعت نشون دادن این بخش از انتخابات رو داره ایرانه که ارگانی به نام شورای نگهبان وظیفه تایید صلاحیت افراد کاندید شده رو داره.

Blow for reformists as Rafsanjani and Mashaei are barred from Iran election

Two important figures in Iranian politics including the former president, Akbar Hachemi Rafsanjani, have been barred from running in next month’s presidential election.

In a blow to potential reformists, the list of eight cleared to stand by the electoral watchdog contains only candidates who are considered hardline conservatives.

Also excluded by the Guardian Council is President Ahmadinejad’s former chief of staff, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei. He had already been described as a “deviant” by conservative clerics who suspect him of wanting to curb their influence.

Rafsanjani – who was president between 1989 and 1997 – had been sidelined from power over tacit support for reformers at the last presidential election in 2009, which brought street protests amid claims of fraud.

Last week around 100 conservative deputies in parliament launched a petition seeking to bar Rafsanjani and Mashaei from this year’s race.

A spokesman for the Guardian Council said on Monday that it would bar physically feeble candidates, a comment seen by many as a hint that it could disqualify Rafsanjani.

Among the eight candidates retained on the shortlist are Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili and former nuclear negotiator Hassan Rowhani.

The Guardian Council’s decision means the next president looks set to be loyal to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

رد صلاحیت خود را ظلم می دانم و آن را از طریق رهبری پیگیری می کنم

اسفندیار رحیم مشایی رییس دبیرخانه جنبش عدم تعهد و کاندیدای رد صلاحیت شده یازدهمین دوره انتخابات ریاست جمهور در گفت و گو با خبرنگار حوزه دولت خبرگزاری فارس در پاسخ به این سئوال که واکنش شما در قبال رد صلاحیت در یازدهمین دوره انتخابات ریاست جمهوری چیست، گفت: من پیش از این درباره این مسئله صحبت کرده ام. من رد صلاحیت خود را ظلم می دانم و حل آن را از طریق مقام معظم رهبری پیگیر خواهم بود.

وی افزود: انشالله از این طریق این مشکل حل خواهد شد.

این کاندیدای رد صلاحیت شده یازدهمین دوره انتخابات ریاست جمهوری گفت: البته من خودم هنوز خبر رد صلاحیت خود را نشنیده ام، اما برخی از دوستان به من اطلاع داده اند که تلویزیون اسم من را جزو کاندیداهای تایید صلاحیت شده ذکر نکرده است.

مشایی درباره این که چگونه با مقام معظم رهبری در این*باره رابزنی حواهید کرد، اظهار داشت: در حال فکر کردن به این مساله هستم و بزودی در این باره تصمیم گیری خواهم کرد.



وی در پاسخ به این سئوال که آیا رییس جمهور هم در این باره رایزنی خواهد کرد و یا نه افزود: من به صورت جداگانه و آقای احمدی*نژاد نیز به صورت جداگانه در این باره با رهبری عزیز رایزنی خواهیم کرد.

our system is among the best democratic systems, an by far better than western countries, in every country a committee qualifies the presidential candidates and it's pretty logical, if you don't know it, then it's your problem.
