I dont think Haseena can postponed a visit to India, she must have told to do so and she obliged.
Do you want also to say that Hasina has been buying Chinese weapons all the time and now the Submarines only because she was ORDERED by Modi of India? People in the west of India understands diplomacy less and talk very loud. Do not you yourself really understand what causes what?

সেনা বাহিনীকে আধুনিক করতে চিন থেকে প্রচুর অস্ত্রশস্ত্র কিনছে বাংলাদেশ। সূত্রের খবর, পর্রীকরের সফরসঙ্গী ভারতীয় সেনাকর্তারা বাংলাদেশের সেনাকর্তাদের সঙ্গে আলোচনায় এ বিষয়টি উল্লেখ করে এমন কিছু স্পর্শকাতর কথাবার্তা বলেছেন, যার বিরূপ প্রতিক্রিয়া হয়েছে বাংলাদেশের সামরিক বাহিনীতে। সে সব সামলে তবেই দিল্লি যেতে চান হাসিনা।"
এদিকে গতকাল রাতে ভারতের পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী এম জে আকবর শেখ হাসিনার সঙ্গে দেখা করার পর প্রধানমন্ত্রীর আগামী সপ্তাহের বাতিল হয়ে যাওয়া ভারত সফরটি নাকি ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসে হচ্ছে বলে জানানো হয়েছে।
ভারতের আনন্দবাজার পত্রিকা বলছে সফরের "আসল উদ্দেশ্যের" কথা। 'ভারতের সঙ্গে নতুন প্রতিরক্ষা চুক্তি সই করতে যাচ্ছেন শেখ হাসিনা' বলে তারা জানিয়েছে ।
কিন্তু শেখ হাসিনার ভারত সফর কেন বাতিল হলো, আবার ভারতের পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী নিজে জরুরীভাবে ঢাকায় এসে কেন তাকে সফরে রাজি করালেন ?

• সাবমেরিনের পর চিন ও রাশিয়া থেকে আরও যুদ্ধবিমান কিনতে চলেছে বাংলাদেশ।
• বঙ্গোপসাগরের নিরাপত্তা ইস্যুতে বাংলাদেশ-ভারত আলোচনা।
• সারা দেশে হঠাৎ নিখোঁজ শিক্ষার্থীরা।
• নিখোঁজ শিক্ষার্থীরা নজরদারিতে রয়েছে- স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী।
আসলে ভারত বাংলাদেশের কাছ থেকে সবকিছুই নিয়ে নিয়েছে। এবার বাকি শুধু নেপাল, ভুটানের মত সামরিক নিয়ন্ত্রণ প্রতিষ্ঠা। নেপাল অবশ্য বহু কষ্টে নিজেদের সার্বভৌমত্বকে রক্ষা করে চলেছে।
আমাদের স্বাধীনতার পর ভারত এদেশে সেনাবাহিনীর বিপরীতে বিকল্প রক্ষীবাহিনী তৈরি করে প্রতিরক্ষা ও সামরিক নিয়ন্ত্রণ প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে চেয়েও ব্যর্থ হয়েছিল।
তবে এবার তারা এই সুযোগ আর হাতছাড়া করতে নারাজ।
এবার বাংলাদেশের জন্য আসলেই বড় চ্যালেঞ্জ-
* ভারতের সাথে আসন্ন প্রতিরক্ষা চুক্তি কি দেশের স্বার্থে , নাকি শেখ হাসিনার ক্ষমতায় টিকে থাকার স্বার্থে ?
* ভারত কি আমাদের সেনাবাহিনীর প্রতিরক্ষাকারী,
নাকি শেখ হাসিনার অবৈধ ক্ষমতার প্রতিরক্ষাকারী ?

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will pay her proposed state visit to India at the end of January next year when New Delhi will give her “a very warm welcome.”
According to sources in the foreign ministry, officials of both India and Bangladesh had discussed a tentative schedule, December 18-19.
But the Indian government is now planning to invite Hasina to India's Republic Day parade on January 26 as the chief guest, a source in the Prime Minister's Office in Bangladesh told The Daily Star.
“There is no question of postponement or deferring of Sheikh Hasina's visit when dates have not yet been finalised or officially announced,” he said yesterday.
A senior diplomat in New Delhi also hinted that Hasina will be given special honour during her upcoming India visit.
French President Francois Hollande was this year's chief guest of India's Republic Day parade while US President Barak Obama was in 2015, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in 2014 and Russian President Vladimir Putin received the honour in 2007.
“Now this is Sheikh Hasina's turn to be accorded such honour….India wants to take its relations with Bangladesh to a new height and turn it into a strategic one from 2017,” said the Indian diplomat who preferred not to be named.
India has been holding the annual pageant since 1950.
As a tradition, a grand parade is held in New Delhi on the Republic Day. The event starts with the India's prime minister laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate in remembering the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country.
India's president takes the military salute during the parade and a foreign head of state/government is the president's chief guest.
Regarding Hasina's visit, Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup told reporters in New Delhi yesterday, “I can assure that the Bangladesh prime minister will be given an extremely warm welcome in India.”
On the Republic Day, large military parades are held in other state capitals of India as well. Representatives of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and traditional dance troupes take part in the parades.

There will be no hostility between Army and Govt. Army doesn't care about the source of weapons. I understand you are asking because of that Anandbazar report. Those days of Army Being Anti India is over. Most of Pakistan Trained officer are retired. Army officers will be happy and quiet if they keep getting UN deployment .
I cannt agree with you. So why buying Chinese staff irks Indian butt so much and recent developments dont support your opinion either. There may be some India loving elements in Army but I dont see its reflection on Defence spending.

On 27 November, a Bangladesh Biman flight carrying PM Sheikh Hasina to Budapest had to do an emergency landing at an airport in Turkmenistan due to technical glitch.
The same plane, after the glitch was repaired, later carried the PM and her entourage to Hungary.
The probe committee, led by Swapan Kumar Sarkar, additional secretary of the civil aviation ministry, submitted the report to the ministry on Sunday.
