Has this minister in the new govt failed?

My concerns and conclusions are similar to that of yours as posted earlier in other threads. It has not been an ideal start by any stretch of the imagination. I would still give him a few more weeks to justify Imran Khan's trust in him and see if he learns the steep curve and proves himself up to the mark.

The current performance does not look good and needs to be improved upon gigantically.

I'm a bit harsh on him because he is not a first-timer...He has been in the power before so he should perform better than the rest. For example, I won't go harsh on Faizul Hassan Chohan or CM Buzdar in the same way but I expect Fawad Ch, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sh. Rasheed and few other experienced cabinets members to perform better.

Though it may be early to conclude about the performance of the government but we can assess one minister's performance based on his activities already. That is the information minister Fawad Hussain Ch. My observations are as follows
  1. Failed to highlight the great initiatives taken by the new govt especially the PM
  2. He failed to slap Saleem Safi on this idiotic defence of NS with counter facts.
  3. Flopped on the helicopter travel issue and came up with a ridiculous explanation that turned into a laughing stock, people forgot about Saleem Safi
  4. He has not been able to regulate and respond the criticism by certain corners of media over petty issues like DPO transfer
  5. Rather, PM had himself to face the media and waste his precious time and reply to idiotic and frivolous questions which have no relevance with any of the agenda points of his vision and 100 day plan
  6. Furthermore, one senior journalist, who has been a against the corrupt mafia, and in that sense, pro-change was deliberately given the invitation very late (just 30 min before the PM)
  7. PM, who has been busy in the his job extraordinary, has been kept uninformed about many developments can affect him or his govt like the suo moto taken CJP against the DPO transfer.
What do you say guys?

Hi,

He has not failed----. He is just learning the ABC---. He is sharp and a fast learner---.

The major problem is that most of them have inbred training---.

They need outsider training like ppp and nawaz league did---.

It seems that our Railway Minister as well the Information Ministers both Federal and Punjab province have shown their incapability to be on their positions at rather early stage.

Fawad Hussein ch. is above average in his area, which is where he's appointed as minister of information.
Actually the incidences happened in past couple of weeks were over whelming. If he would have taken stubborn approach to defend the helicopter rides, private jet rides, sacking of SSP.... he would only fail.

I always maintained that written policy /plans of PTI are missing... which we call in our profession as 'detailed engineering' and as they say 'devil is (always) in the detail' @MastanKhan
PTI has adopted the approach of an unskilled and inept. boss. Who have no plans and consequently lack direction and leadership.

Good perspective...different but still makes sense.

What really matters is delivery for the betterment of the public. Judge by results, just as people of KPK did.

My friend you just failed a minister in 4 days of him joining office. Bravo
No bro this not how ministers fail. If media goes against minister of information that means minister has passed and making sure media becomes more efficient. When do you say I don't like my boss? Only when your boss makes you work harder.

. . . .
He is making blunder after blunder and yet his loud mouth tactics is the only tool the government has to silence the critics
