Harsh Mander commits sedition

Actually that was the famous Harsh Mander's account. But I will get there, never fear! :D
You just keep saying that,, just pack those bags and book a ticket sir. (dont forget the VISA anyway :P ) Trust me, you will find plenty of cities here with a "home" !
Faisalabad sure is one of them. :)

And the Opening post, my word!! What an amazing and inspiration story to share, that too in such times as we face today. Thanks a lot for this message of love and peace. I hope more and more people can understand and accept this.

@Joe Shearer Thanks for the beautiful share, truly moving. Bloody bored of Kashmir and ranting idiots.

@shah1398 Oh someday I also might arrive and hope to meet you all if possible, a pleasure to speak in person and not through this medium .. someday!
You too :)

The best part about this thread for me is its timing!! A ray of hope among all that hatred and bashing and trolling and what not! Seriously, cant thank you enough @Joe Shearer :)

And also these are not just sugar coated words dear, you are all more than welcome to come and visit us ANYTIME you want. I assure you it will be a good experience and you will find lots of people ready to welcome you. We might be quite furious enemies but when it comes to making new friends and welcoming our guests, our arms are always open for that embrace. :)

So these quoted comments were very nice to read and it should describe us as a nation too.
@Levina ,@Arsalan ....

Thanks for the tag Wajsie.
That was such a refreshing story to read after an exhausting day.
This reminds me of all the previous accounts that I've read, where Indians have confessed that they found Pakistan to be a friendlier nation than they had expected it to be.
For that matter, many Indian members here will agree if I were to say that we find your website a lot more friendlier than other defence forums.
Virtual hospitality!!! Lol

We are such a hospitable nation and very hospitable as people, i don't get why we are not known for our hospitality.

May be because "Pakistan" doesn't get marketed well.
IMO, Tourism can be one of the major drivers of Pak economy if your country is marketed the way it should be. Pakistan has the potential to nurture its economy through tourism by providing enabling conditions to investors.

It so happened, that when I was reading your post during my lunch break, one of my friends was suggesting a tour to Morocco. Inspired by the story, I suggested "let's try Pakistan". Ppl around me sat there looking at me with variegated expressions on their faces.
But I've a few thrill seeking friends, one of who( an anglo Indian)backed my suggestion. But men in the group declined. A Hyderabadi friend said "such trips to Pakistan usually don't end well". No, don't misunderstand.
He told us that one of his couisns who had visited Pakistan had issues when he returned to India. Ostensibly, those who visit Pakistan often come under the radar.

Whatever!
I do want to visit your country someday. I want to visit Harappa, Taxila, Mohenjodaro and so many other places, the pictures of which have been shown to me by my Pakistani freinds. :)
Ah!
How can I forget my Pakistani trainees who bring me sweets from Pakistan. <3 Aww!

Yes, Pakistanis are indeed very warm people.......well most of them. Hehehe

@S.U.R.B. bro this thread reminds me of you. :-)

It is the short, black, southern variety, the guju and the hyderabadis that we can't tolerate
You cartoon!

I have warned @Joe Shearer already of that and I am warning you too. You shall not leave Pakistan without meeting me. Or or else, I shall report you as spy and then you will be my guest for the rest of your life :D

What a brilliant share! @Joe Shearer , everyone is welcome to visit Pakistan.

We are such a hospitable nation and very hospitable as people, i don't get why we are not known for our hospitality. On the contrary we are known for our hostility. This our failure as people and as a nation to not be recognized in a better manner, not many people have had a bad experience in Pakistan. So these quoted comments were very nice to read and it should describe us as a nation too.
@Levina ,@Arsalan ....
i dont think there is any international reputation of pakistani as hostile people... (other than in india of course but then we are enemies)... i think daniel pearl episode and war on terror made pakistan a risky place to travel...

.
Indians are against pakistan state policies which has its affinity for non-state actors. Unfortunately their actions end up getting identified with the ordinary citizens. Indians have nothing against ordinary pakistanis , like every pakistani citizen they have their own life to bother about.

As they say familiarity breeds contempt holds good for both countries.

this is almost a cliche at this point..
i know many indians who have never met a pakistani.. and think they are some beef eating rakshasas...
