In India sindhis are synonymous with kanjoosi/moneymindedness... like gujjus or banias... not sure how hey are perceived in pakistan.

I don't know how it is . But my mamu is very miser . He gave me 1 rupee in eid .
When he comes to my home , he puts the rest leaved fruits in his pockets to his home .. hahah am sorry maamu.

reminds me of my first Sindi lesson in 9th grade
Teacher asked the class who is going to read the chapter, i raised my hand then started reading, the very first sentence was something like "mujho dadi pyas" something like that, i read it and teacher asked me what it means. I said "meri Dadi (grany) is very thirsty" lol
