Happy new year, How to celebrate it.

Do we have space to add new events in our culture and traditions?

Islam doesn't forbade us to leave our culture which is not against the teachings of Islam, I have found zero Heer Rajha like story but our elders listen this with great respect despite they are not brother and sister but lovers which shows how moderate and tolerant culture we had but we deviate from it.

According to my plan....

I will invite my cousin / relatives,
We chat in open, gathered around fire, have dry nuts, BBQ, will sing desi folk songs then pray togather for better future of our country and family.

And will shout together happy new year.....

Now tell me which Islamic teaching / rule I am going to break?

According to Quran.

If you don't get me wrong can you post a link or ayat from Quran clearly mentioning the subject like Hadith you posted in link.

Since the Ayat mubarka does't address this issue link provided by you.

The links contain many Ayah and a correct Tafsir of them.

What the hell has Middlecoat got to do with anything?

Still resorting to insults I see. Pity, I thought a secularist like yourself would be all for freedom of speech.

How can be they orthodox when their doctrine developed in mid 18th century?
Even been to Hajj to Saudi Arabia?

The doctrine was not developed in the 18th century.

Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab was just simply saying to go back to the original teachings of Islam. That was the basic idea he was preaching.

Their doctrines have existed since Islam's inception (at least for Salafism), it's only these specifically labelled movements which came about recently.

I don't think so Islam forbade us to celebrate any cultural event which is not against teaching of Islam.

What is bad in that if we allow newer generation to enjoy with the rest of the world within the limits of our cultural and religious boundaries?
No, I don't think so...but the way it is being celebrated is objectionable and should be debated....leave it aside since it is off topic sensitive issue.
Imitation of any cultural that is not Islamic is forbidden because all non-Islamic cultural events have their origins in some pagan customs. New year does not mark any achievement or remembrance of historical event with a positive message. Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is reward for fasting and extra-praying, Eid-ul-Adha commemorates the sacrifice offered by Prophet Ismaeel (Alaihi Salam).
New year is just an arbitrarily selected end of a sun based calendar year. Any date can be selected to mark the end of the year. Furthermore, it does not represent any human achievement. It is just flow of time and celebrating for getting old does not make sense. It is very irrational. Rather we should focus on the mistakes we made and rectifying them but that has already been taken care of in Islam with five daily prayers.

Another name for Salafism is Ahl-e-Hadith or Ahl-i-Hadith.

Okay isnt islam suppose to be our pride and glory? Why do we have to follow other cultures or religious practices to celebrate or be happy people celebrate holi, christmas new years even thanksgiving...shouldnt we just take pride in the fact that we are given a perfect system and we as muslims should strive to follow that system and be happy every day that we are blessed i dont understand the need for new year celebrations or any festival thats againat our system!

And yes i have no issue if chirstians or hindus or anyone celebrate their festival in pakistan i have issue when muslims think that Allahs word is inferior for them and angrez ka festival is superior and should be celebrated!

I never heard about them only knows orthodox Jews.
He is referring to salafies and ahle-hadeeth.. but unfortunately they are extreme ones and their wrong interpretations have opened doors for many illnesses in the society and terrorism is one of them.

Salafis/Ahl-i-Hadith/Deobandis strongly condemn terrorism.
