Haniyeh: Hamas rejected $15 billion in return for economic projects

Salaam

Bro, you know well the problem isn't investment or airports. Had that been the case the Arabs had plenty to spare. You know the Palestinians haven't been fighting for "an airport, a seaport and a massive aid package".

The way I see it is simple, the Palestinians were able to survive the sole superpower supporting Israel fully. That superpower is in clear decline and it is retreating from around the world.

Challengers and alternatives have emerged. Challengers who do not care much about who God promised the holy land to. They will calculate based on their self interest.

The Arab and the Muslim world vs the Israel. Which side has the larger market and potential to benefit China, the Israelis or the Arabs?

The Israelis will likely remain the easy scapegoat for many issues and a player like China would easily be able to make inroads into the 'hearts and minds' of the Muslim world by exploiting that point.

Anyways, I think anyone with any foresight realises that the times are a changing. They just have to hold out a bit longers.

So what you're saying is exactly what most Israelis believe. That the palestinians don't want a peace deal. They just want to wait until a day they think they can defeat Israel and take everything.

So in which case I expect you not to come on here crying and whining about the 'poor palestinians' if this is the path they have chosen. Many of them will die, because that's what happens when you try to destroy a more powerful enemy instead of taking the best deal you'll ever get.

The fantasy victory the palestinians have been dreaming of for 70 years isn't happening in our lifetime, so you better buckle up for more dead palestinians, more suicides from depression in Gaza and more stagnation from the Arab world as the palestinians act as an albatross around their necks.

.
airport and sea port they have in 1990s they failed to protect them . you need a force to protect you otherwise no benifit of them . israel destryoed gaza airport already and they can do it again

Yes and what happens once they've disarmed? Would the aid providers rearm them incase they need to defend themselves again?

Giving up their arms in return for temporary fixes would be stupid.
How exactly is the current situation any good for Palestinians anyways, every time Hamas fires a rockets Israel goes and bombs them into oblivion until the next time.

Refusing the deal was stupid as hell, Israel can keep up the status quo as long as it wants it has the total upper hand while Palestinians will keep getting poorer, it could have been a win win deal but no lest keep fighting talk about bad leadership...

You know well how you can get peace. You have to give up occupied land.

You could've gotten a lot better deal and likely would've been able to keep a lot more land than 1967 borders back when the US had no challenger and everyone thought this whole thing would go on forever. You just had to agree to giving up some of the settlements and occupied land in exchange for lasting peace.

Israel has been unwilling to stop building more settlements even, let alone give up occupied land, for peace. Yet you blame the Palestinians for not accepting the loss of all their land for a measly airport and a seaport with sone dollars?

Peace would've come had Israel realised that times can change and it is best to make a deal when you are at the top without any challenge. You waited too long and now everyone can see that the United States is in decline and with it is the power of the Israelis.

With the US becoming increasingly isolationist and losing its unchallenged status, it may be that Israel finds itself having to pay for thus conflict.

The Arab governments had also started to accept Israel because of the US. Once things start to change, they will find it easier to listen to the 'common peoples voice'.

I think the Israelis know this well. You lose in terms of demographics with the Palestinians. The difference in economy/numbers/resources/size of the Arabs/Muslims compared to Israel is very clear. It's just a matter of time. Sooner than later.

You've crossed the peak of your power with regards to your neighbors. It's all downhill from here.

Remember one thing though. Unlike most of the atrocities of the past, Israeli oppression of the Palestinians has been thoroughly documented in film and text. I wonder what all of this will look like once things change sufficiently in the direction they seem to be moving.

How exactly is the current situation any good for Palestinians anyways, every time Hamas fires a rockets Israel goes and bombs them into oblivion until the next time.

The current situation is certainly not good for the Palestinians. However, the current trajectory is much better than it was a decade or two back.

Israel doesn't want Gaza, nor war.
A disarmed Gaza is in our interests, you think we would want to conquer this shit hole?

Oh my cousin, but you have conquered it and you have imposed a war. You just chose to define the 'it' as that which remains after your conquest. It has become a 'shit hole' because you pushed them into it in a way that it turned into that.

Hamas pushed themselves into a war against a stronger foe.

Israel left Gaza and that was when palestinians started to wage war from Gaza.

If they accept the deal, Gaza people will get 15 billion $.

If they refuse, Hamas bosses will get from Iran 1.5 billion $.

The choice is obvious.

Those who give up arms for a temporary peace, don’t deserve it. Your government has proven time and again how you renegade and steal land using brute force and kill civilians at check points etc. For Palestinians they have nothing to lose

Peace deal with Egypt now in its 40th year.
Peace deal with Jordan now in its 27th year

No reneging and no stealing their land.

So it seems you're completely wrong.

Keep defending the right for a free independent Palestine

Palestinians numbers are increasing

Do not give the Jews a easy way out to legitimise their apartheid state

Currently the Jews are crying about anti semitism and their oppression of Palestinians is a knife wound to them

Easy to say "keep fighting" out of the UK.
Life in Gaza isn't easy, and wars makes it worse.

Hussain sitting in Bradford on government welfare watching daytime TV and telling the palestinians in Gaza to keep fighting and lose their lives while he stuffs another samosa into his fat face.

What does fighting mean to you? Going with a knive to a gun fight? Sry but thats utter stupidity, violance will not help Palestinian cause, it will only legitimize Israel more and more.
What Palestinians need is diplomacy and strong allies who are able to lobby for them, firing unguided rockets to civilians certainly get them any sympathy among the strong allies which are more worthy than 100 weak muslim countries sympathy.

Do not give the Jews a easy way out to legitimise their apartheid state
Well, firing rockets does exactly that.

Currently the Jews are crying about anti semitism and their oppression of Palestinians is a knife wound to them
well, not really working out that well is it?
