It is to be honest. But then again it depends on what type of person you are.
I used to go out for meals at 1 in the morning in London, all shops close here by 19:00. I'd go on walks at mid night and I would still see people out on the streets. The people in Manchester hibernate at 20:00 max.

That's crazy..

Swedish people sleep by 22:00 max on week days though on weekend, they can be up really late till 1:00 in the night..

Manchester party scene hoga yr. Workhorse plus financial district.

Party hoti hogi yr esa nahi.

Mazdoor community azadi manate honge weekend pe. Bankers gham ghalat krte honge.

People in Manchester are up late at night as well but in their homes. They don't leave their small boxed homes!
Weekdays are same here, work and studies catch the best of people.

I'm used to it DST but not the noise of clock changing the time in the night. Summer time is good but it does not make sense in the winter. We have pretty short day span in the winter so even at 08:00 it is pitch black and sun comes out after 09:00..

When I moved from London to Manchester. It took me a lot of getting used to. Yaar koi night life hi nahi hai yaha pai.
