In a previous hajj my mom and brother became sick after respiratory disease spread amongst hajjis and many people became sick.

Brother, I was referring to this:

No i was talking about 2018 hajj where lot of people develop respiratory problems which was aggravated by construction work going around in makkah at that time. It wasn't a serious infection but lot of people got it during hajj. I was just using this example to tell that moron that some hadiths without context can be used to manipulate. In this particular instance that hadith was told when Prophet Mohammad SAW was telling signs that will appear near the time of Qayamah.
