"Had quite a few Bharatis who want to volunteer, I told them thank you very much.. we fight our own fights" - Israeli ambassador

Honestly opportunists on all sides are the worst kind of parasites.

Pajeets who sat and watched as Meitei Hindus conducted a sustained campaign of ethnic cleansing and gangrape in THEIR OWN COUNTRY now want to flock to Israel to fight Hamas!

What are these Langoti cowards so stoked about?

Getting Israeli citizenship?

Don't take credit - that is all you guys are capable of doing. Walking in at the last minute and claiming victory.

Without the Mukti Bahini (Mostly East Bengal Regiment deserters trained by the PA), your army would have been mincemeat.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking. The motivation of these pajeet volunteers comes into question. If they were this opposed to Ijlam and Zihadis, they had multiple opportunities to fight in Syria or Afghanistan. No, but they choose Ijrael, because a lot of them harbor the fantasy of eventually having an "Ijraeli Vife"

Lol! They ain’t going no where near the fighting. Actually it would be funny to see them used as cannon fodder.
Ultimately the sanghi regarded monkeys wish to hook up with Israeli girls which will never happen.

The Mukti Bahini was provided training and armaments by the Indian army. Training facilities for Bengali militants were established in West Bengal and the North East. It was the Indian army that entered Bangladesh, captured Dhaka, and oversaw the signing of the surrender documents by the Pakistani army, officially recognizing Bangladesh as an independent nation. It's worth noting that initially, only India and Bhutan acknowledged Bangladesh's independence, while Saudi Arabia strongly opposed it. India persistently engaged in diplomatic efforts to secure recognition for Bangladesh as an independent nation.

The Indian Army only captured Jessore and the countryside/small towns which had mostly already been taken by Bengalis. India did not capture Dhaka.

On the contrary, Pakistan controlled Dhaka, Chittatong, Sylhet, Ranjpur, Rajshahi etc. on December 16, and most notably Kamalpur where 40 Pakistani soldiers held off an Indian brigade of 4000 Indian soldiers + MiG-21s.

Pakistan could've fought a "forever war" in the east and launched a thrust into Indian Punjab from the west. The majority of PAF's offensive power was put into reserve for this purpose.

However, it was clear the Bengalis wished for their own country, and there was no point in defending East Pakistan anymore. Much of the Pakistani awaam, elite and top brass had no interest in living in a Bengali majority country where they would take orders from 1600km away (same with the other way around) @SQ8 can elaborate. Yahya Khan is quoted as saying

So the war was ended to avoid pointless bloodshed, though snivelly scheming on Indians' part turned what was supposed to be a ceasefire into a surrender, because scamming is encoded in the genes of Indians.

This scamming would come and bite the Indians in the arse after ISI would liquidate Indian PM Indira Gandhi and India's top brass (including Indian COAS) in the years to come.

It was the Soviets and Bengalis who played the biggest role in 1971 and accordingly paid the biggest price, when 20,000 Soviet soldiers were slaughtered by ISI proxies in Afghanistan and 30,000 Mukhti Bahini were during the civil war.

Bhai - read some history and the autobiographies of Manekshaw etc.

Indian Army was only providing some training to rank civilians using 3-not-3's and the like, which were already considered obsolete by that time.

Most of the warfighting was by former ranks of East Bengal Regiment (EBR) who fought a war of attrition and guerilla (ambush) warfare against the formidably equipped PA.

PA was in a tough spot because of supplies and war materiel had been severely diminished by around November 1971 - they were limited to very sparse movements and limited to being holed up in the larger cantonments. Every venture they made outside they were going to be ambushed by East Bengal (EBR) or Muktis which they avoided more or less. On top of that most did not know how to swim - just like the IA troops.

Bangladesh being mostly submerged underwater from March until November this was bad news for Manekshaw and Indian Army top brass. They did not want to fight a war buried half in the muck. They did not possess the equipment and the Indian troop would have drowned, some inevitably did. People in Bangladesh are like ants - they get trained to float in the water from age three.

Indians did not even venture into Dhaka before the first week of December 1971 when the waters receded and things dried up with the onset of winter - a week before the fall of Dhaka, which was already mostly liberated by Bangladesh fighters.

IA bypassed most of the newly liberated country and came in through Agartala border in Comilla, facing zero resistance, the path cleared by Bangladeshi fighters.

The only fighting Indian troops did in December is fighting through the crowded roads to come into Dhaka and have Niazi sign the papers. For some reason he wanted to surrender to India, not to Bangladesh freedom fighters. Maybe for being granted safe passage back home. He had good reason not to trust the emotional and angered Muktis.

I am tired of repeating this same story for every generation of new Indian bhakts who think they "gifted" us our independence.

Just BS all around with the Indian chest beaters.

India persistently engaged in diplomatic efforts to secure recognition for Bangladesh as an independent nation.

The only thing Indians were "persistently engaged" on was making sure that,
  • the threat of a two front war was half-neutralized, and that,
  • Bangladesh became a convenient large market for Indian products (to the tune of some $50 Billion yearly now).
To claim charity and "fellow feeling" for Bangladeshis is evident now in how your top leaders call us "ghuspetias" and "pole-vaulters".

Enough of that BS already.
