H-6K is nearing invincibility: Sputnik News

simply I have no source said H6 could bring 17 tons
combat radius 3,500km included the shooting range of missiles it bringing.
3500km do not included shooting missile. :D

.
share us some sources for update parameters of H-6 ok?
the latest news we know about operational range of H-6 is a livefire somewhere near Bashi Channel which is about 1000km far from mainland coast.
=========
Everyone underestimated Russian ability beyond their "it's reported that" but with respect after their weapon proven in Syria land attack and Tu-95 patrol to Guam after refuelled by 3x IL-78 take off from Cam Ranh, Vietnam. Then they know the real ability of land attack Calibr cruise missiles, Gepard class frigate and Buyan-M convette.

Hawaii ? I remember the Attack on Pearl Harbour more than 70 years ago.
H-6 without escort to Hawaii ? We all know that's a non-returnable and death on the way flight

But I think China will supply PAA for CPEC with:
20-30 Z-10P Block-Is
similar block 2 & 3.

.
I think in near future Pakistan needs it. It will help in War on Terror and also to Bomb Indians.

You really stupid or something no?

I suspect with the PLA uses these aircraft as maritime strike/patrol rather than bombing. Any carpet bombing would be token given the handling, and subsonic speeds of the H-6. PLANAF would be the best benefactors of this aircraft, do we know the location of these bombers?

It's an obsolete Missile Truck!!!!!!!
No stealth, No Modern Avionics. Not invincible at all.

Zaravan, Did your write this post or pasted it from a forum (Chinese)?

A H-6K bomber. (Internet photo)

Capable of carrying seven YJ-12 supersonic antiship cruise missiles or CJ-20 subsonic land attack cruise missiles, the PLA Air Force's H-6K strategic bomber is going to be nearly invincible in future aerial warfare over the Western Pacific, according to the Moscow-based Sputnik News.

The combat radius of a H-6J bomber is estimated to be 1,900 kilometers, said the report. With the assistance of aerial refueling aircraft, the combat radius of the bomber will be gradually expand to 3,200 kilometers.

Currently, the PLA Air Force operates a total number of 26 H-6K bombers. During several exercises held in the past, the H-6K was proven capable of long-range penetration into enemy air space, said the report.
Unlike the US Air Force's B-2 bomber, the H-6K, modeled after the Soviet Union's Cold War era Tu-16 bomber, has no stealth capabilities. However, the new YJ-12 and CJ-20 missile systems will allow the bomber to launch an attack a safe distance from enemy air defense systems, said the report.

The lacking of a proper weapon aiming system is the only weakness of the H-6 bomber. China is still unable to develop or purchase the device regularly, delaying the strategic bomber from gaining the ability to launch precision attacks against targets. The only strategy left is for the bomber to compensate by launching more missiles than the enemy, according to the article.

Never mind about the source!
Sputnik news? what is that. Is it like Onion News?

Su-34 payload 12,000kgs range 4,000km ( and air refuel available ) and could beat even other Flankers like Su-27, Su-30. So it's not bad choice.

Believe me, Tu-22M is best choice for China. Forget that oldman Tu-16
You are confusing flight range / ferry range (4,000km one way) and combat radius (1000+km round trip, with the first leg carrying full mission armament, on internal fuel). Aerial refuelling can extend combat radius.

@all: How exactly does this near invincibility come about? Andersen AFB (Yigo, Guam) for example could operate F-15Cs, which have an unrefuelled combat radius of 1,967 km on an interdiction mission.

I think Chinese should supply it for free about 10 of these aircraft to PAF.

And honestly I think You should stop posting such stupid posts like Your wishing-lists for the PAF even more if they are pure wet-dreams, beyond any affordability and simply without any common sense. The H-6K is a strategic system and You really think China will deliver the PAF a few for free ??? the same with You wishing-lists of about 150 J-10A/B/C, J-11B/D and J-16 ... Z-10 and so on.

Again, this is a respected forum and not the play ground for fan boys. Otherwise open a special tread in the PAF-section, where You can dream on ... here in the future I will delete all such stupid posts.

To put pressure on Subic Bay and Guam, during 1980s in Cam Ranh bases,
Soviet Union placed:
4x Tu-95 ( strategic bombers )
4x Tu-142 ( reconnaissance )
20x Tu-16 ( tankers )
15x Mig-23
Recent patrol, Russian deployed 4x IL-78 to Cam Ranh as tankers for Tu-95 patrol to Guam.

H6U tankers could last maximum 6-7 flight hours with full fuel means under 5500km of range.

You obviously haven't been here long enough, Deino! :D

You think I posted this in the wrong forum ? :p:

I have at least the desire to make it a more respected one even if I have to admit that here still a lot of country bashing and some sort of "strange" treads is very much common ... Anyway at least I will try ...:smitten:

CJ-10 missile range maximum can reach 3000km.
