Gyari sector recovery operation to restart

After opening of weather and melting of snow, search for remaining 19 x Shuhada has commenced by employing 228 x military personnel and 29 x heavy engineering equipment pieces including excavators, dozers and drill machines. 121 x bodies of Shuhada were recovered before suspension of Operation Gyari due to winters on 27 November 2012. It is once again reiterated that these sustained efforts would continue till recovery of last man.
It may be recalled that on 7 April 2012, 140 soldiers and civilians of 6 Northern Light Infantry Battalion came under a huge snow slide at Gyari and embraced shahadat.

It is a typical pakistani thing----a nation is going thru the worst crisis of its lifetime----and you want to dig out the dead from underneath a million tons of snow. Diverting manpower and resources from other important things.

For 1/2 a billion dollars---we could have had 25 JF17's----or 2 submarines----. Kiyani had no right to do what he did----.

I bet you you---if the proposal was put in fron of the familes----do you want your dead bodies----or 25 JF 17's or 2 submarines----I bet you---they would have voted for pakistan.

Sir,

The JAWANS already know that their dead body means nothing---it is all about the SOUL---. When these men go to war---they don't care for their burial---they already know that they won't get a place for burial.

Secondly---these bodies were under the snow---would stay well preserved---so in the next 1000 + years they could have been taken out at an apprpriate time and given a burial.

Pakistan is in a state of war----and when all the resources of the military are redirected to a salvage operation---while it is being attacked from multiple sides----it shows THAT THE NATION IS NOT MENTALLY PREPARED TO UNDERSTAND ITS PRIORITIES.

And you can see it in the issues and problems that the nation has been having for the last 11 years since 9/11.

Just ignore him, I've figured out that he's a professional troll. If you look at his other posts, you can tell this guy does nothing more than bash the PA (especially the PAF, calling them traitors and pathetic) every chance he gets, and every compliment he gives is always backhanded. Yup two wrongs don't make a right, I am not suggesting in anyway that this operation be halted. As for naivety, Musharraf the COAS allowed a foreign nation to conduct operations within Pakistan. In early days the drones were being launched FROM Pakistani basis. Today PA accepts that civilians are being killed along with terrorists. I find the whole affair extremely disturbing and I consider any person who became a part of this arrangement a traitor. PA should not expect a common Pakistani to overlook this gross (and absolute, in a sense) violation of Pakistan's sovereignty.
