Gunmen kill 8 in Pakistan's troubled Baluchistan

QUETTA, Pakistan (AP) — A Pakistani official says two gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on a car carrying Shiite Muslims in southwestern Pakistan, killing three of them.

Senior police officer Wazir Khan Nasir says two Shiites were also wounded in Monday's attack in Quetta, the capital of southwestern Baluchistan province. No one claimed responsibility.

In a separate incident late Sunday, government official Pervez Ahmed said gunmen killed five Sunni Muslims in the town of Mach in Baluchistan.

Baluchistan is the site of a long-running insurgency by rebels who want a greater share of the region's resources and more autonomy. It's also home to Islamic militants who frequently target Shiites.
Shiites make up a sizeable minority in Pakistan, but many Sunni extremists do not view them as true Muslims.

The people who committed this crime are twisted individuals who have some other motives, Sunni-Shia discrimination is just a facade created by their leaders.

I think you haven't read about the attack on buses in which both Shias and Sunnis where there and the attackers killed only Shias. Single thing that was good in that incident that Sunni passengers didn't point out fellow Shia muslims.

The problem with general population is that they are swayed towards anything by these people using sects, religion, etc. So thing is more complicated than what meets the eye.

And you need to read more about this conflict and I think some senior member should take the task and explain more to people like us.

Gyes. If want to know read the books from both sides and then you can judge them or understand the differeence between them.

Shia Sunni violence is not new. in each century after Our Prophet Mohammed (PBUH, S.A.W.A.W) died. They were opposite to each other. Mostly the same way Shia’s were killed by the Rullers to rule the country and to keep the Khalaphat which means the ruling of Muslim countries..It was mostly in Arab countries, In Indo Pak there were debates between each scholars about the superiority of the sect but violence started in 80's. After the invasion of Afghanistan. Please just for your information In Afghanistan 45 % is Shia’s Muslim. On that time the literature and Teachers and Money all came from saudia and some other Arab countries that has a Sunni Rulers despite Majority of Population are Shia’s.
Since then the Pakistan is burning. The difference are between Suni and Shia’s and Some Hardliners who want violence had managed to make fool to us. Like Sipahay Sahaba or Lasker e Jahngvi group both one organization. Their leader use to Put Our Prophet Followers (Close one and couple of them were Father In law of Our Prophet) we called them Sahaba’s Name in one paper and this paper he use to put in the Dog neck and next day he will catch the dogs with some other students in front of the people and he made speeches that Shia don’t like sahaba’s and they are insulting them and they are abusing them (Just a Note: Shia believe that after the Prophet the Sahba’s Put on fire the Prophet(PBUH) daughter Fatima and son in law Name Ali (AS) home . and Some sahaba sons killed the Prophet(PBUH) Grandson Name Imam Hussain (As).
