ISLAMABAD: Gunmen in Pakistan attacked and set fire to trucks used for transporting supplies to Nato troops in Afghanistan, police and officials said on Wednesday.

News of the attack came after the United States apologised to Pakistan for a Nato cross-border incursion in which US helicopters killed two Pakistani soldiers, an incident the American ambassador to Islamabad called a terrible accident. – Reuters

They are just words. This not the first incident were Pakistani soldiers are killed by NATO.

USA says sorry and a few hours laters their drones are flying and killing Pakistan civillians again.

Pakistan army needs to take a stance and to say to NATO that they have crossed a red line and that Pakistan army will shoot down any plane, drown or helicopter which violates our soevereinty.

Accidents happen. I think it's a very bad idea for Pakistan's establishment to anger US at this point. Pakistan's economy is delicate at this point. The drone attacks have been very effective in eliminating Taliban leaders and recruits. If it was not for drones, imagine how many innocents would have died at the hands of these taliban. I suppose even the truck drivers are pakistanis/afghans and they too have families. Why kill the poor drivers ?

Its unfortunate that innocent people who are working for bread are targeted in a clash between NATO and Pakistan. TRUE, no MF NATO or GD US solder should be given a drop of water from our side. BUT plainly I am against burning the fuel or trucks because we didn't want them to reach across the border. Those were our trucks and the fuel we burnt could have been "stolen" and used by us. Why the heck we destroy a valuable natural resource just because it is meant to be taken for our enemy. Pakistan can use those resources and claim them to have "gone missing". Who the hell is going to pick a pubic hair of ours for doing so. No need to burn or destroy something thats equally worthy for ourself. So show restrain, use those trucks and the valuable Goods on them.
