Kuwait can STFU
This sh1t is epic ... These guys can't protect themselves .. They want our troops, jets n ships?
Why should Pak jump into their war?
It is difficult for us (even if we wanted to)..
War in FATA.
Iran a neighbouring state..(which we have no conflict with).
Secterian proxies.
..
We should (I repeat again) act as negotiators or mediators .. Try to make peace between these idiots ...
Damn kinda makes you admire that assho|e Saddam..
oh NO NO NO
they CAN fight this war alone but they choose NOT to
one reason is the presence of ethnic Yemanites in the lower ranks of Saudi forces that might refuse to kill their own people over a political feud
other reason is that why risk own life in a ground offensive which will result in unbearable loss of life for any attacking force when there is an option of Pakistan available. Pakistanis are so gullable that its funny. recall the time sadam made a Namaz picture saying he was going to free Palestine ... wait for it... by attacking Kuwait. and the Pakistanis people bought the posters of that communist blood thirsty dictator like hot cakes.

A font page editorial in Kuwaiti paper Al Seyassah on Sunday criticised Pakistan for taking a neutral stance in the Yemen crisis, the UAE’s Gulf News reported.
“The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries do not need Pakistan. In fact, Pakistan needs them in various areas,” the editor-in-chief of the paper Ahmad al Jarallah wrote. “The GCC can defend its security, particularly following the alliance with other countries such as Jordan and Egypt.”

Pakistan had bowed to Iran, the editor went on to write, because it feared being defeated by the Iranian religious leadership.
“Pakistan needs to look carefully at the Iranian plots, especially its attempt to scare the world with its military capabilities.”
Accusing Pakistan of political blackmail, the editorial said that “the Pakistani stance that was adopted through the parliament’s decision to remain neutral has dropped the blackmail masks about protecting sacred Islamic sites and sharing a common destiny with Muslim countries.”

“The slogans were merely political blackmailing tools and Pakistan thought it could use them to feed its crisis-hit economy,” al Jarallah wrote.
“There is no doubt that the Pakistani leadership has made a mistake by betting on Iran, and even its fear from Tehran is not grounded in reality since the Iranian claims about military and missile capabilities and the nuclear programme are not more than a game,” al Jarallah said.

The criticism comes only days after UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammad Gargash said that Pakistan’s decision to not join the Saudi-led coalition was “dangerous and unexpected”. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had responded to the UAE minister’s statements, terming them “unacceptable” and a “violation of all diplomatic norms”.

Pakistan's unique advantage is its experience in asymmetric conflict .
AFAIK Arab Armies dont have the ops experience like that of Pakistan .
And like you said they will take casualities like hell.Cent percent sure.
World had already seen the sophisticated American armed Iraqi Army fate when they met the IS nutjobs.
And rest of the points you already mentioned in there .
Either they need mercinarires support or Pak military support ,otherwise they will suffer seriously. As usual money is not an issue for them.

Let's just do an exercise here and consider this from geopolitical point of view, taking Pakistan's national interest as the parameter:
1) Kuwait is the same country for whom Pakistan had committed troops to liberate in 1991 from Saddam occupation.
2) They are pretty much a Saudi protectorate and would never come out and criticize Pakistan if it were not by permission of Saudis. The Saudis are scared to death to burn all their ships with regard to Pakistan. So they are using these smaller states Kuwait and UAE to put pressure on Pakistan. They can not do so themselves. Think about this as a proxy move to pressurize Pakistan.
3) Kuwait having had recognition dispute with Iraq, is a country i perpetual fear of another Iraqi invasion. History moves fast and who knows that future holds for them in coming decades.
4) Pakistan can easily shut them by sending a secret massage to the effect, that Pakistan would stand aside, if next time they are invaded.
5) Ultimately, Pakistan will have to do a serious talk with Saudi Arabia. Some one from Pakistan whether civil or military who has a good command over geopolitical affairs should travel there and meet with Saudi elders, doing a presentation for them in geopolitical calculus of the region and where Pakistan stands in all of this.
6) Pakistan has already paid a huge price to placate the Saudis. From tolerating Saudi ideology which has killed tens of thousands of Pakistanis to barricading itself from Iran's energy resources causing energy shortages in Pakistan. Saudis have not done any thing to address these Pakistani sacrifices on behalf of Saudis. Only the energy issue has caused the loss of tens of billions of dollars to Pakistan's economy. By comparison, Turkey which buys both electricity and gas from Iran, has had a better ride.
7) Saudis should remember that in modern military history, no conventional force has been able to defeat an insurgency on foreign land. This inferno, made by Saudi policies in the region, is Saudi's responsibility. Trying to arm-twist Pakistan into Yemeni furnace so that Saudis go on to claim the glory will not bring any geo-strategic dividends for Pakistan.
8) In case Saudis, still remain belligerent, and continue with their pressure tactics, Pakistan has the option to warn Saudis about changing its calculus towards them. There are several avenues through which Pakistan can counter-balance Saudis, which will only lead to Saudis becoming more isolated.
9) Saudis should remember that with new fracking and oil sand technologies, they do not have as much importance as they had in the period 70's to 90's. Even if the entire Saudi oil export is taken off the market, that would only account for less than 10% of world's demand. This can easily be filled by sand oil and fracking for a increase in price of oil. The world can live with a bit more expensive oil. Technologies exist to adopt. But the question is can Saudis live without selling oil? A country that has to even import its food let alone every other thing from textile to cars.
10) Pakistan has always the option of shifting its strategic balance towards China, Iran and Russia in case Saudis try to escalate their pressure against Pakistan any further. This point should be raised with Saudis. Only this point on its own has the capability to make Saudis lose sleep at night.
11) Pakistan can go on offensive here, and should demand a share in Saudis economy. The same way Americans have a share there. Not a share in Saudi "aid". A share in their real economy. Pakistani companies should be given preference to set up shop in Saudi Arabia, specially in their oil sector. If Saudis refuse, threaten them with strategic re-calibration in ties and remind them, that Pakistan has deep ties inside Saudi military which do not bode well for Saudi Royal family in case a Sissi or Giggi ever try to overthrow them. As they must know, Pakistani military has the most extensive in this regard in modern history. At this point, Saudi king might get a heart attack.
12) Iran would love to see, Pakistan in Iran's camp. But Pakistan is not ready yet for that. It is ok. But this point also should be raised with Saudis. That if pushed and disrespected, Pakistan can always go back to its roots which are Iranian not Saudi.
The choice is already made. They sending troops. Otherwise Gulf countries squeeze them out.Pakistan has to worry about the following while sending troops
1 Relations with IRAN ; they have a 900 KM Border
2 Situation in Balochistan
3 Domestic sectarian clashes
4 Sending troops will give a big boost to extremist elements at home
who they are trying to contain
It is a difficult choice
