It is certainly not true that Gautama Buddha was "saddened" by the prevailing social system in India. By all buddhist accounts he was quite proud of being a kshatriya and have claimed that all Buddha's before him were born only in the Brahmin and Kshatriya households.

In fact when a Brahmin told him that Kshatriyas were not as hospitable as required, he argued that Kshatriyas were superior to Brahmins. Hardly the words of a man "saddened" by the social system of which he was a beneficiary.

The Una incident happened because they were suspect of SLAUGHTERING COWS, not because they were Dalits
