Greeks struggle to afford food and electricity as inflation soars

Ha, ha... Yes we are. But we still pay the market price. Companies here know how to fleece (rob) people....
Welcome to life in the neoliberal economic system where the rich take from the poor. :coffee:

They have run out of tricks... Quantitative easing (money printout) isn't working, interest rates by the central bank to the lending institutions is negative, the stockmarket is flooded with corporate buybacks and the common man on the street is getting raped while the banksters get to hide in their $Billion Dollar apocalypse nuclear-bunkers (i.e. private tropical islands)... ...While the world goes to hell in hand basket because of hyperinflation and global conflicts.

Enjoy...

even oil prices? isn't canada an oil and gas producing country?
Production couldnt keep up with demand. But trust me, it wouldnt last long for high oil price. But other inflation may last longer.

Soaring inflation is hitting living standards across the developed world. And it is largely being driven by a rise in energy prices. In Greece, electricity prices alone trebled last year, and the government is spending more than $2bn subsidising energy costs for households, businesses and farmers. But some people still have to choose between eating and paying their power bills. Greek incomes were battered by an eight-year depression following the 2008 global financial crisis and they still have not recovered.

Send PLMN team, they can fix anything.

The reportage is full of exaggerations and misinformation. Yes, there are problems, but not to such an extent. It confuses the era of MoU with the IMF, with today, when the whole world, and especially Europe, have similar problems with energy prices and inflation.
In the meantime , the video forgets to mention other economic indicators, such as growth and foreign direct investment, borrowing costs, living standards, etc, who flatly refute it.
