the US wanted a project done and they have 3 companies running to do it german chinese and arabic
the german company said it would cost 10 million but it will be done right

There are highway constructions in Italy going on since 25-30 years, it already needs a fixing on some points before it is even finished, Mafia is founding construction firms, win tenders and get money from goverment which again is from EU.

EU forced Italy to pay it back once the huge corruption scandal surfaced, the same goes with Naples garbage broblem, the companies that are supposed to clean the city belong to Mafia, also the same with a lot abandoned appartment complexes in Italy built by Mafia firms.

EU was quite naive when they just subsidized projects in southern Europe without proper monitoring, billions disappeared in never ending or half done projects.
Thank god Switzerland isnt in EU, i would be very pissed if my tax money landed in Mafia or corrupt officials bank accounts.
