@Norwegian I heard the same joke long time ago(about politicians eating all the money) except it was not a greek but lalu prasad yadav. When lalu was ruling bihar state, he made statements like 'I will make bihar roads like cheeks of Hema malini(a bollywood actress)'.

Anyway, the original joke could be much older, many desi jokes, especially sardarji jokes are rehashed blonde jokes.
