That is more based on NATO allies then the world.

Turkish Navy is the 4th largest in Europe in terms of the displacement of the total fleet, with 258,948 tons. Only behind Russia, Great Britain and France.

The Turkish Air Force is one of the oldest in the world, and with just over 930 aircraft the TAF is the 3rd largest air force in NATO only behind the United States and the United Kingdom.

Turkish Armed Forces is the second largest army of NATO after the U.S.

one thing i dont understand is, why turks spend too much on military then spending to build its economy, it has no major threats, armenia??, greece??, iran?? israel?? arabs??, iraq??, the only threat is kurds and its no major one..

Turkey's economy is booming for the past decade. This is what makes the spending on the military upgradation possible.
