1. India has the social concept of community living.
There are Brahmin colonies, Parsi wadi, Nair colony and muslim ghetto's. Its part of our social fabric and society structure.

2. Govt. jobs are based on written exam and marks scored, nothing to do with religion. But there are "muslim quota" in govt. jobs and muslims with even less marks get into IAS and IPS due to this quota.

1. There is no difference between a colony and a Ghetto or a wadi etc.. A poor colony is called a "slum" or a "ghetto". The only difference is the economic status.
2. The muslims themselves have kept their people backward by following 7th century practices like keeping women uneducated and showing intolerance for others.
3. RAW employees are how publicly listed. Also No official statistics are available on the number of Muslims in security forces since Indian govt. conducts no such survey. Sachar report was ONLY for civilian govt. jobs.

Sikhs are free to demand a separate identity. For now they are considered Hindu, but a minority sect , same as Lingayat which is another sect of Hinduism who has got "minority" status.

Let me repeat.

ONLY Indian citizens can stand for election. They have to provide PROOF of their citizenship to the Election commission who VERIFIES This before accepting his candidature.

Both President of India and Army chief too needs to be Indian. But their extended family CAN be non Indians.

Example Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed who's family migrated from Bangladesh and who's extended family still lives in Bangladesh. None of whoem get automatic Indian citizenship just because someone in their family became the president of India.
