Did you seriously just copy and paste a list from a site called a billion bibles? Not only is the bias obvious but it's also all wrong. I suggest you avoid copy and pasting bull from Islamaphobic websites with bullshit like moon god? Dude not only are they wrong but IT'S SLANDER.

I can literally refute all of these by busting out my Quran. F*ck off with your bull.

Also Reported.

Full religious freedom would allow sacrificing heathens (Muslims) to Odin.

WTF are you talking about?

All right, I'll be more carefull which site I use, lesson learned, apologies.
But still Sharia does excuse punishments by death in case of apostasy:

-Quran verse 4:89
https://quran.com/4/89
- Quran verse 9:12
https://quran.com/9/12

to severe/ to cut (the meaning of this particular word is unclear) a hand in case of thievery:
- Quran
https://quran.com/5/38

So my argument still stands; Sharia is not compatible with western countries.

If you wish to understand the salafi interpretation and perspective of Islam I would recommend you check out the site IslamQA. The site has a relatively simple and easy to use format. The founder of the site is a respected Salafi scholar. And it's probably the most popular site for the Salafi perspective.

Conform to the law of the land and the culture of the people or gEt out. Want sharia, go live in egypt.

Allright, will do, thanks, I just found a wikipedia page about the author, he's controversial to say the least.

Well, I think it depends. Since I believe Belgian security services won't want to publicly reveal how they collect intelligence and information.
Moreover, I believe there is no way Belgium will target this Imam for no reason. Since Belgium is a very liberal country even by European standards. If they decided not to grant this Imam stay in Belgium it must be for a very good reason.

The way the article is worded makes it seem as though his personal belief in Salafism is the only factor, if they uncovered hate preaching then I would think it would just be reported as a counter-terrorism op.

In the UK some people also have this strange perception of Imams preaching terrorism in their seminars, when in reality most speeches are just how to be good muslims and community members. I just hope they dont also just start deporting Imams or shutting down mosques here because of their affiliation/sect.

I am not sure You would enjoy that.

Not a problem, as long as you don't the jihad against the muslim sacrificing heathen. :azn:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Unless this man has done something illegal, Belgium should not be restricting him entry if he has met all of the entry criteria - that is discrimination. To be a Salafi is not against the law.

Other Muslims should realise that there are certain segments of European society who's sole purpose is to end Islam and Muslims in Europe. Today this guy being a salafi is a problem, tomorrow the deobandi will be the problem, and the day after the sufi.

In recent history the anti Islamic right in Europe has attacked;
- Halal meat
- Niqab
- Hijab
- Azan
- Masjids being built
- circumcision
- gender segregation at private islamic events
- the presence of privately funded Islamic schools
- availability of vegetarian meals in schools (in 1 town in France)

They intend to make life as difficult as possible for Muslims. You should think twice about who you are cheer leading.

Huh....but according to your Muslims brothers on here there is nothing wrong with Wahhabism, salafism form of Islam. So why are you calling it a backward violent ideology that has tarnished the name of Islam?

I'm confused in who to believe now.

He's from Iran, so likely a shiite. They consider the Arabs heathens, the gulf arabs consider them heathens. I'd consider him a biased source.

What an utter idiot...

These people do realize that ISIS has absolutely nothing to do with Salafism, right?

Salafism goes back to the 18th century while ISIS goes back to the past decade.
And plus NATO has covertly armed ISIS

Let me tell you a secret. They who have power ultimately want to change the Quran.

They cannot accept that Muslims should believe that the Lord God is Sovereign. They cannot accept that Muslims "out" terrorism committed by NATO.

They are trying to use the cover of counter-terrorism to do this. This is a long process.....

Quran verse 4:89

They are eager that you should disbelieve like they have disbelieved, so that you all become alike. So do not make friends] with anyone [from among them, until they migrate in the way of Allah. But if they turn their backs, seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and do not take from among them friends or helpers (4:89)

This verse is actually talking about groups like ISIS.

In the previous verse, the words were about those hypocrites whom some simple-minded Muslims raised to support and intercede, but the Qur'an stated their separation from Islam. Now this holy verse, following that idea, indicates that the inner darkness of these hypocrites is so much so that, not only they themselves are disbelievers, but also they desire that you should disbelieve, too, as they do, and you would become equal to them. It says:

" They wish that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; ..."

Therefore, they are worse than the ordinary pagans, because those pagans are not the thieves and robbers of others' Faith, while these hypocrites are, and they, as a habitual manner, ceaselessly try to spoil the creeds of others.

Now that they are like that, it says:

" ... therefore do not take from among them friends ..."

This is a frame, unless they reform their affairs and stop hypocrisy and destruction. The sign of this status is that you see they migrate from the center of infidelity and hypocrisy to the camp of Islam in the way of Allah. It says:

" ... until they migrate in Allah's way ..."

But if they do not try to migrate, you should know that they have not abandoned their infidelity and hypocrisy. So, their expression of Islam is

only for the purpose of spying and destruction. In this case, wherever you

find them, you can capture them, or, if necessary, slay them. It says:

" ... But if they turn back) to infidelity (, then seize them and slay them

wherever you find them, ..."

Then, at the end of the verse, it emphasizes again that you should never take friends from among them. It says:

" ... and do not take from among them a friend or a helper."

Except this intensity of action, there is no other way to save an alive society, which is going forth alongside an improving revolutionary path, from the clutches of some seeming-friend enemies and dangerous spies. (Commentary Noor al-Quran, Vol4, Page: 120)

This is also the very next verse after Quran 4:89

(4:90) unless it be such of them who seek refuge with a people who are joined with you by a covenant, or those who come to you because their hearts shrink from fighting either against you or against their own people. Had Allah so willed, He would certainly have given them power over you and they would have fought against you. If they leave you alone and do not fight against you and offer you peace, then Allah does not permit you to harm them.

Try harder Islamaphobe.

[9:12] But if they break their pledges after making them and attack your faith, make war on the leaders of unbelief that they may desist, for they have no regard for their pledged words.

It's talking about the Arab tribes who broke the peace treaty with Prophet Muhammad(saw) and attacked him and his followers. it's a verse of self-defense you complete imbecile, not a verse about apostasy.

We already went over this not even a couple quotes ago. Go back to school and learn some english will you?

the Quran’s prohibition of wanton violence: It forbids attacks on civilians, property, houses of worship and even animals.

It’s true that sharia permits harsh corporal punishment, including amputation of limbs, but fiqh restricts its application. Theft, for example, doesn’t include anything stolen out of hunger or items of low value. (That piece of fruit Jasmine “stole” in “Aladdin” certainly wouldn’t qualify.)

If you want to complain about punishments for theft than why does your country have laws against theft? I thought you lot hated Sharia?

I have already explained why this stuff is not Sharia, Sharia isn't a set of laws for Non-Muslims to follow you illiterate idiot.

READ IT AGAIN

"Sharia is a body of Quran-based guidance that points Muslims toward living an Islamic life.

"It doesn’t come from a state, and it doesn’t even come in one book or a single collection of rules. Sharia is divine and philosophical. The human interpretation of sharia is called “fiqh,” or Islamic rules of right action, created by individual scholars based on the Quran and hadiths. Fiqh literally means “understanding” — and its many different schools of thought illustrate that scholars knew they didn’t speak for God."

"Fiqh distinguishes between the spiritual value of an action (how God sees it) and the worldly value of that action (how it affects others). Fiqh rules might obligate a devout Muslim to pray, but it’s not the job of a Muslim ruler to enforce that obligation. Fiqh is not designed to help governments police morality in the way, say, Saudi Arabia does today. According to classical fiqh scholarship, a Muslim ruler’s task was to put forth another type of law, called siyasa, based on what best serves the public good. The most vivid example of this was the recognition of incestuous (mother-son, brother-sister) marriages practiced by some non-Muslim minorities living under Muslim rule, dating back at least to the 14th century, despite the abhorrence, generally, of such marriages to Islam. In other words, sharia doesn’t hold that everything objectionable to Islam should be outlawed."

" The Quran repeatedly commands Muslims to keep promises and uphold covenants. That includes treaties among nations and extends to individuals living under non-Muslim rule. Muslims have lived as minorities in non-Muslim societies since the beginning of Islam — from Christian Abyssinia to imperial China. And fiqh scholars have always insisted that Muslims in non-Muslim lands must obey the laws of those lands and do no harm within host countries. If local law conflicts with Muslims’ sharia obligations? Some scholars say they should emigrate; others allow them to stay. But none advocate violence or a takeover of those governments."

Omg is it realy so hard for you to understand? ... There is no "full" religious freedom some practice are forbidden.

No, what I meant was that Vikings used to be friends with Muslims all the time back in the 9th century. They traded a lot.

Google "Muslim Vikings" and the first 5 results would surprise you.
