Govt plans to quadruple meat production

Every country define their own parameter regardless UN. In USA, you need to complete 8th grade formal to be considered as literate. In BD its 5th grade formal or informal.

In BD primary education is compulsory.

India and BD use exactly same parameter to measure literacy, only in case of India age limit 7 years and above and in case of BD age limit is above 15.

Aren't you guys supposed to declare the new base year to calculate inflation by now, I'm waiting to see BD's gdp going twofold!

just an other day in pdf!!!
BD members here think that India is destroying their country...
and they are super rich and ahead of Indians in all areas:rofl:
some on even said BD is quite ahead of India in shipbuilding:rofl:
they recently built a 6100 tonne displacement ship(BD's largest)
Should have understood that Cochin shipyards first ship in 1981 was 76,000 tonne:rofl:

In India only a handful state is little developed compared to the south asian standard but rest are dirt poor and live a below poverty line. Most of the India`s growth comes from those states mainly. A country can not progress with such huge difference among different parts of the same country. Hope you have got my point. Regarding shipbuilding Bangladesh did not say that it is ahead of India but now primary target is to capture 1% of the global share of 400 billion usd market and then gradually increase it to 10%. Considering low labour cost it is quite possible. Have you seen how Bangladesh have crossed India in RMG!!!

In Bangladesh for boys it is upto grade 8 and girls up to 12 grade.... what is the big deal!!!

World’s first and largest urban PRT system is announced; Amritsar North India breaks ground on 12 December 2011

Ultra_Amritsar_pod.jpg

Ultra Fairwood, the collaboration between Ultra and Fairwood created to bring the Ultra technology to Asia, has been awarded a contract for the world’s first urban Passenger Rapid Transport (PRT) system in Amritsar, India.

Amritsar represents the first urban application of PRT. At peak capacity the Amritsar system can carry up to 100,000 passengers a day on a 8km / 4.8 mile elevated guideway in over 200 pods between seven stations, making it the world’s largest PRT system to date.

Financed entirely by private funding on a build, own, operate transfer (BOOT) basis, passenger services will go live in 2014. Although the cost of the scheme is subject to commercial confidentiality, it demonstrates that a large scale urban PRT system can be delivered on a financially viable, fare-based model and offer very real returns for financial backers.

Amritsar is home to the holiest shrine of Sikhs, the Golden Temple, and is rich in historical, religious and heritage sites. As such it’s a big draw for large numbers of visitors, especially during festivals and religious events, as pilgrims flock to the area. Up to 500,000 people visit the Golden Temple on important religious festival days. The PRT system will ease congestion and reduce the current long travel transit times.

The route will focus on taking passengers from the railway and bus stations to the Golden Temple and will:

- Take 35% of daily visitors to the Golden Temple
- Save up to 30 minutes on the current journey times
- Attract passengers from a wide geographic and demographic profile, from regular
commuters to “one off day trip” users.
- Run from 04.00 – 24.00 seven days a week
- Charge fares competitive with alternative modes such as taxis and auto-rickshaws.

Lol!got any thing to say??

Again same bs from these idiots... fact is UP has a per capita gdp of only 530 usd .... When it will come to the level of present Bangladesh's 95 base year gdp we can talk then. Till then continue to have fantasy...

What made you think this is impossible... Bangladesh has set a target of capturing 10% of the world's ship building market in a decade or so... If India can get more it is better for India but enough for Bangladesh... Do not forget we have crossed India also in RMG...India is not a super tech genious but just another third world country.... if it would be china then it would be a different case.

Do you know your per capita income is half of Indias???

There are many regions in Bangladesh that have lower per capita than UP

Continue with your fantasy-Bd more advanced
India low tech:rofl:

I already cleared the fact .... UP, Bihar, WB etc. has a relatively much lower living standard then Bangladesh. All available data is indicating that. Otherwise poverty, malnourished rate, hunger etc. would not be that high in these region...

In India only some state is doing better then Bangladesh... rest is lagged behind... this is a fact.
