Govt Mandates Use of Plastic Wrapping in Airports

.
I dont know....There were already machines on almost every airport...

Will this now qualify these airports as First World hence completing Qatari investments into upgrading Pakistani airports?

.
I was confused with the picture, where 2 passengers are carrying badly wrapped carry-on baggage.
Next time try reading...pictures dont display everything! Plus some backpackers do book their backpacks (esp if the size is big or weights heavy!)

I dont know...many Western airports dont have wrapping machines...so not sure which world it belongs to...But in Saudi this yr (not 1st world) they made it mandatory...even in UAE they wanted the baggage neatly wrapped...or remove all wrapping (if badly wrapped)

Their excuse was - badly wrapped luggage or luggage with something sticking out- gets stuck in the belt...

Please stick to Pakistan.

nobody cares what goes around the world nor is fair for me to comment.

This is what corruption looks like alive not dead like those of previous gormints people come here to curse.

Every western airport have it... but it's privately owned and personal choice of the traveler.

They are more than welcome to wrap baggage with straps, but what's wrong with hard case suitcases.
Basic thing is all of Pakistan feeds on expatriates and even PIA survive on them.
Pakistanis along with govt. start stealing from expats. the money they buy ticket.
Pathetic airport services but highest airport tax.

Not every!

2ndly, Even the ones on our airport are privately owned...

Lastly, yes it is personal choice in the West...then again no one (there in the West) brings horrible bags with handles (large cloth or plastic bags like luggage) that can get stuck in the belt ....

I have even seen this kind of things on Pakistani belts:

Nothing is wrong with hard suitcases...I think (hope) this was badly conveyed! Coz it should not include hard suitcases...

Yes, we rely too much on expat money!

What's happening, can't be termed as relying.
if Pakistani airports have audacity to charge highest airport tax, than they must hire one cleaner at every airport on 24 hours duty and give half of the $ collected from tax to the cleaner. If he succeed in keeping it clean from wrappers, juice boxes and other trash.

And that is what reeks of corruption. Pretty obvious who the "private" entity is:

The solution is to stop checking in things like that. The solution is NOT to charge EVERY passenger Rs.50 for a service they may not need/want because the government said so, and so Shahid Latif can make a fortune. I'm sorry but this almost certainly sounds like foul play.

EDIT: I am unable to find any information on Air Ciro. I am not sure if this Shahid Lateef is AM Shahid Lateef or not. Regardless, this smells of corruption.
