Well people should atleast realize that the action by these so called Islamist coup plotters was in itself UnIslamic. As stated by the Pakistani SC verdict on coup of Musharraf. These people had betrayed their oath and had comitted a grave sin by falsifying the trust reposed in them or Amanat may Khiyanat.

If BNP was honest, it should wait till the next elections, fight it on the basis of development or governance failures and then win. This jumping in the middle is very poor judgment. Most Bangladeshis I have met are furious by BNP actions.
