Check this follow up report. It clearly mentions the name. The ANI report was probably the first update. @Syed Hammad Ahmed Its really easy to cherry pick and create a narrative. Look at the whole picture sometimes.

ANI Report for the other scenario was also a first update but ANI chose to keep the name of the accused while chosing otherwise in a seperate which involved a Hindu.

Again, scraping my post for something. Tableeghis went a whole new level of crazy when they invited East Asian compatriots who were first infected. My kind is extend as far as Indians if I were to pick between those two I'd readily choose the country over faith. Some people can't say the same, not my problem.

You make it sound that the Tableeghis knew the East Asians were infected and therefore, extended their invitation out of some sinister motive.

In any case, since Modi said that India was scanning all arrivals since mid-January. India granted the visa, allowed their entry, allegedly scanned the arrivals, upon entry at the airport, gave permission to the ijtema to be held, allowed the ijtema to commence and conclude.

Since you have said you choose the country over faith, I guess it would suit your narrative to not hold the govt or the leadership to any blame, and just blame the tableeghis eh?

Next time anything goes wrong in India, don't blame any govt functionary, just blame his faith.

Those East Asian Compatriots came legally and the Government of India let them in. So its the government who should have been blamed but as usual Bhakts will be Bhakts. Meerut: A government doctor received fracture in his hand in a brutal attack by residents of his upscale society in Meerut who wanted him to vacate his house over fear that he may “spread” novel coronavirus in the colony.
Dr Prashant Bhatnagar is assistant professor at community medicine in Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College.
He said, “I have been living in Sector 6 of Shastri Nagar area in Meerut for the last seven years with my family. However, now, these people fear that doctors living in the locality might end up infecting them with coronavirus. The colony residents started forcing me to vacate the house here. When I protested, they thrashed me leading to a fracture in my right hand.”
An FIR has been filed against three persons, RS Yadav, Yaduveer and Jugal Sahni under IPC sections 325 (punishment for voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace). - No NSA against Hindu fundoos.

Dr Bhatnagar further said, “I am not even posted in the Covid-19 ward. So locals should keep their doubts aside and not thrash the medical staff.”
Meerut police had a different version to offer.
Superintendent of police (city) Akhilesh Narayan Singh said, “The altercation happened over the placement of a guard cabin outside the doctor’s house. The cabin is put outside different houses from time to time. But the doctor protested against its placement outside his house as it blocked his car parking. He was hurt in the altercation and an FIR has been filed in the matter.”
