With over 65 years of Pak-China friendship, at least now we don't need Google to understand their culture. Please give us that leverage. Its like I lecture you on Russian culture. I second their ideology. You've to count on each and every penny to be a super power specially on the ground of economy. If China has invested, she must get the fruitful results. This is the reason why Pakistani armed forces and government is working extremely hard to make CPEC a super hit. You can't be an economic power by investing $60 billion and then get nothing of it. We simply can't. Its in our neighborhood and we simply can't leave Afghanistan alone for our interests. The influence of Pakistan just can't be undermined in Afghanistan. Imagine, World's most powerful collation is collaborating in Afghanistan but still what they've achieved? India is involved, Iran is involved, what is the result? If anyone thinks that by bypassing Pakistan they can bring peace and tranquility in Afghanistan, they're grossly underestimating Pakistan's caliber. We know what we're doing in Afghanistan. Believe it or not, we've got US off their balls, now they can't totally leave us and they can't totally side with us. We're bleeding them slowly and steadily. So, you decided to ignore the first few pages on this discussion and directly post your observation without any background knowledge. Know what that makes us think of you?

China consulted with us and it was mutually agreed that China not vote against the US sponsored resolution as then China would end up on a losing side since Saudi vote was already withdrawn, due to US offer of full FATF membership for Saudi Arabia. We actually were not hoping to get Turkish vote either because the cause was lost and it would only mean that Turkey too would end up on the losing side, along with us, we do however appreciate the extreme gesture.

Again, this time I must say that the above is spoken not just like an ignorant but also a stupid fool.

HBL was neither kicked out of US nor was it made to pay the entire penalty. What this means is that US treasury department had to back down on its initial financial penalty; HBL was only found 'complacent' of US 'recommendations' on KYC/CDD on an account linked with a Saudi bank which was already vetted and KYC/CDD regulations satisfied a few years back. In the entire process, no wrong doing was brought forward. This too was a political move to put pressure on Pakistan for US getting a beating in Afghanistan.

P.S. The entire world can bark and bark but go quiet as soon as the US roars. The quiet does not mean that the entire world agrees with the roar, it only means that the world is too powerless.

Speaking on behalf of the ‘Government’, we were always lining up to our obligations in regards to UN resolutions. All Governments understand that legislation takes time, especially in a country where the Federal Government is embattled with multiple fronts.

But the US bidding is going to be done, no longer! That is, unless interests are aligned, be that of the countries of that of US and some higher powers in Pakistan.
