What's new

Government and TLP reach agreement to end countrywide protests

action should be taken against those who spread hate, education should be enforced, maulvis etc should be told to discourage this and educate people about real islam. and also there should be more state control on media etc.

since pakistan is a islamic republic the govt should have lot of control and all madrassas should be reformed and under the state. maybe religious schools too train imams.

there should also be paramilitary which would be trained to be like a national guard and anti riot force. it should guns, anti riot equipment and flashbangs. so when riot police has problems it can get backup.

@Moonlight ... Let's just say, Khadim had to rescue himself before supporters while agreeing or to say, presenting same demands those were already offered by the team yesterday. Rest about threats against the officials, as far as I know, there is procedure of certain things to be carried out while at the same time, you have to worry about Fire which can burn some innocents/civilian loss of any kind.

@Slav Defence
I don’t know what happened. I got triggered today. I do agree with you all. But honestly, this Khadim Rizvi shouldn’t get away with his this attitude all the time. He asked to kill judges. He threatend the government and army.
So many innocnet people died because of him.

@Slav Defence and thanks for banning this Umair guy. :)

Let's face it. We knew this was going to happen. In front of flag of Islam carried on the shoulders of Mullahs the state always cowers down. Frankly this is not about partisan politics. PML-N, PPP, PTI or even a military dictatorship have done the same. Cower down. The only exception I can think of is Lal Masjid but even there the military government of Musharaf prevaricated and only took action when Chinese citizens were grabbed. Forced to move finally because Beijing put pressure and Lal Masjid was restricted to one location in the capital.

Why is this? Why do all the flavour of governments bend backwards in front of Islamic flag peddling Mullahs. The reasons are bigger then PPP,PML-N or PTI. The reasons are structural. The state is too weak in front of these people because there is real fear that if push came to shove the security organs of the state might just dissolve or fall apart under pressure from crowds invoking Islam and inviting them to rebel in the name of Islam. This is the only plausible reason I can give unless somebody can come with better explaination.

Nobody is going to tell me that if Nawaz, Zardari or Shabaz or even Bajwa were in power things would have played out differantly. This alludes to structural weakness in the Pakistani state. We can't see it but those in power are aware of their limitations and they don't want to push too hard unless it breaks.
You are correct.Lack of education of masses is the problem. Many are muslim but they get all their knowledge from Mullah not Quran and sunnah.

And here is the rub. The british state when it interacts with it's citizens day to day is so soft and 'cuddly'. Young female police officers walking around unarmed chatting with kids and old people. You get your car pulled up and it will be formalties without any threats or pushing around. But try to threaten the state and within minutes you will face the iron fist. And it will take you down. You can run but you can't escape. But then there is almost 100% consensus in UK. You can hold any opinion and say anything but never threaten the state.
It is same everywhere including Pakistan, Sweden and USA.

So I was right there are people with a functioning brain in the Pakistani state.
But many have pointed out that this "peace" won't last long. GOP should do something about these idiot( I'm talking about all the people involved in this shit, mullahs, blood seekers, presstitutes and politicians). But i also know that nothing will happen, not because we dont know how to deal with them, but because the State is aware that the average pakistani have identity crisis. To raise awerness in people it would take another generation. But im also sure that Pakistan will became a great nation.

Education is only one part ,,,,, Lack of economic activity , Lack of job ,, Lack of business opportunity ,, Lake of food and Health facilities and in some cases lake of Law and order are the main part of this problem.....
Visit south Punjab and see 1000s of young youth 20+ with metric or F.A and with out any job or opertunity of earning any type of money...….
Our young papulation is blessing and curse also …….. Just look at moob videos of this molvi 75% protesters are young 15 to 35 at max...…..

call me an extremist but we need to bomb these rallies ....if you recall couple of years back i had said the same thing....this lot is beyond saving.....they are deaf, their brain is dead, they can read, they can't see......you cannot save then....time to save the country and the rest of the public from this menance ---- time to do Black ops, execution style....
There is no national will to do it. 90% of Pakistanis think the beard is their majazi khuda and anything they say is the word of god.. and I am not exaggerating my opinion.

Moonlight,
I can understand your frustration.Such kind of attitude by specific parties is quite embarrassing.I also understand how world perceives it.However, I cannot tell you how sensitive is this phase from which Pakistan is going through: It is a transition phase and we are trying to recover from previously given heavy damages. This includes our economy and global impression as a peaceful state.
Inshallah, we will take correct measures to bring down all those mindsets who are harming Islam and Pakistan more than her enemies.I want you to be patient and observe what happens.Ofcourse, this change would be slow but only possible if we are able to maintain peace successfully in the country.I also give you a very good news that Pakistani army is close to success to end this terrorism franchise. It is not my analysis but statement given by Gen. Ghafoor.

Last but not least, I was about to push "warn button" when @The Eagle kicked in and hunt him down:

Very good agreement. Hopefully sanity prevails.

Also, inna lila hi wa inna Alieh-e-rajioon for Maulana Sami ul Haq!!

Enemies of Pakistan stabbing us in the heart and trying to throw us in a civil war, while our secular-liberals cheering it and dancing on the death of Sami ul Haq.

Never forget Pakistanis. Never forget the cruelty of these extremists whether TLP or liberal-seculars. They both are the oxygen for each other

Root problem is Pakistan gives priority money to science, technology, engineering education and army etc but nothing is spent on real good quality religious qualification combined with other relevant subjects to build up a good all round pupil. I dont know why they give priority they cant provide electricity for 24 hours and dont produce any decent products apart from agro exports. Army should take over and provide and take the religious role to counter idiocy .

Lets hope these are not funded by George Soros. Hegelian dialectics.

For an educated man, you are beyond idiotic. You are dangerous if you think like this due to your impulse.

Negotiations are always the first step in any conflict resolution. Killing en masse will only destroy moral authority of the military and Pakistan will go in dissatisfy. We don’t want to be another Syria. Thank you very much.

And to be fully honest, this is a very sensitive issue. It is ought to be handled carefully. Govt should have shown more balls in Atif Mian issue but I digress....
