Gorakh Hill Station of Sindh

.It is situated at an elevation of 5,688 ft (1,734 m) in the Kirthar Mountains, 94 kilometres (58 mi) northwest of Dadu city. Gorakh Hill Station is situated on one of the highest plateaus of Sindh, spread over 2,500 acres (10 km2) of land. It is very attractive to nature-lovers owing to its temperate weather and beautiful surroundings. Gorakh's elevation gives it a special climate, with sub-zero temperatures during winter and generally below 20 °C in summer. The Government of Sindh is in the process of constructing a new road from Dadu to Gorakh Hill. There is a new rest house for visitors on the hill. Tourists can arrange their own transport from Sehwan Sharif to the hill station. In 2013, Rafiq Ahmed Jamali became the chairman of Gorakh Hills. Locally it is stated that Gorakh is derived from Balochi word "Gurkh" but the Balochi word "Gurkh" is a descendent of Persian word "Gurg" which means wolf.

Where is winter shots?
Never knew Sindh has such a landscape..

. . . . . . . .
it sometimes snows in mount Abu, Rajasthan.
Not sure it snows in Mt. Abu but its a gorgeous place! My ancestry is from Rajasthan and I still have close relatives there...not far from Mt. Abu... Been there a few times...

Gorakh cant much Murree or even Mt. Abu in scenery, water related beauty and greenery but Gorakh does provide a pretty place as relief from the SCORCHING heat of Sindh plains.... I'd invest in Gorakh tourism if had spare money!! There is a HUGE demand for such place in Sindh!
