Ya, I remember them "donating" alot of cars to the last government when the new auto policy was being made. Where did the cars go? Probably in their pockets.
I've also heard that these companies actively threaten new comers into the market.

at least we should support our local manufacturers

They dont realise that the buyers are the biggest factor to the resale value. I wanted to open up a Ford F-150 plant in Pakistan because of the massive pickup market, but u need lots of $$$$ for that.

Very true, but building like a local manufacturing plant would be very good. Like with local parts and everything. Ford needs all the business they can get, they are going down, very fast.

Ford was one of the best cars, specially when the Ford Escorts were popular in Pakistan in the 60s and 70s

Good deals. Like you build the factory yourself and then tell them to give u a license for productions or just start making ur own pickups.
Honestly if your going to make a factory just for them to shift, I would just licence a engine and make my own brand.
