Sometimes a lot of small reservoirs within an areas can give a reasonable total output. The well next to it may yield 10,000 barrels per day.. and another little so in end we may get around 30-40% of our daily consumption.. which is great.

Pakistan's total oil production is around 90 thousand barrels per day, I am sure its either not 376 barrels or this chutya news channel doesn't know fact or just sensationalizing it.

This is very possible and I thought about it as well. This channel "public" news is the shittiest in terms of quality of its reporters... 376 barrels is not a big amount at all but the way he is presenting it, it seems either he has misread the figure or has no idea what he is talking about.

Chillax mate, no one is being a big-headed egotistical moronic braggart here and we are happy with the discoveries. It's the media which is to be blamed for exaggerating the smallest discovery. We are sick and tired of the Indian style journalism.
Our daily requirement is around 400.000 barrels a day. So please tell me how 372 barrel per day producing well is a big discovery? This is not even news.

i agree.. if we put 50 thousand barrel a day, then i will consider it a reasonable news...

I agree, this is very stupid reporting but it is not the first time...this channel mostly does such false reporting.. either it is 376,000 barrels or the reporter plus editors are morons.

I did calculations and it is only 0.15% of our total consumption. But still better than nothing...however 0.15% cannot be called a major discovery.
