It was a unilateral step by India to usurp J&K. The next step is to then Kashmiris into monitory. They would like to do it quickly, like how muslims in Jammu were massacred and became minority overnight, but they have to go along with the times.

Failure to strongly oppose it. Raise it at UN, mobilize military for action. Either it was ceding IOK to India (betrayal) or failure of intelligence to preempt it (incompetence).
