What's new

Good Bye General Bajwa!

Positives:
- PAF response to India
- Good team work with PTI to get Pakistan out of FATF
- Did well with handling COVID under leadership of PTI

Negatives:
- Regime Change Operation
- let the corrupts back
- kept on meeting Showbaz and not asking for IK’s permission
- throwing fits at DG ISI’s replacement
- taking the extension
- FIRs on Arshad Sharif and other journalists
- Torturing politicians
- DG ISI and DG ISPR circus of a press conference
- Lack of leadership skills and refused to decouple Military from politics
- Negative infinity pulse ratings of the military under his leadership
- Allegedly corrupt but the verdict is out there (as per Factfocus article)
- No understanding of job role (meeting ambassadors/diplomats, US visit)

.
So,

General Bajwa did what anyone would have done as well if put into his shoes.

I will respect him - because he, for the first time in history of Pakistan, paved the way for non-dynastic, comparatively honest leader, IK to come into power.

IK wouldn't have become a PM if not for Mr Bajwa's help...IK was able to triumph over these seasoned players only because of General Bajwa's help.

General Bajwa tried to remain firm with Khan until situation becomes too hot to handle. He did what he considered right.

He is not a traitor at all as said by many on this forum. That's bullshit.

27 Feb 2019 is also a medal on General Bajwa's chest. Indians got humiliated right under his command.

He has done his 6 years now. Good and bad and all. He was not in control of many things yet tried to / responded to it to the best of his training and policy.

He had his shortcomings and may have did wrong terribly somewhere but I believe he was and is loyal to his country. Sometimes we get overwhelmed and that's understandable.

It was a tough ride overall. Only few, with no political affiliations would understand!

I wish him all the best for his future.

Respect from Karachi.

Thank you!

Please tell me you're under 10 years old so your worldview can be excused...

Please remove the PAF response. GHQ's 'response' idea was so pacifist and pathetic that it doesn't even bear repeating. Bajwa was upset about the whole thing because he was dying to appease India and IK wanted to move slower. Even a swine like Hamid Mir confirmed the same in his op-ed in WaPo, plus it was clear as day to anyone with a brain.

PAF thankfully had a better option, and the PM fortunately went with that.

So, let's remove that too.

What did you have this morning?

The guy overthrew a popular government , assasinated journalists and tried to assasinate an ex pm , stripped people naked , unleashed terror on people and you are saying he was loyal? Worst chief in history.

Also abhinandhan episode credit was to PAF. What had this idiot to do with anything?

PTI fools are just as delusional as they were always blindly following their leader's trail. What happened to long march? What happened to dissolving assemblies?? Imran is a political coward, he has proven time and again. It is a shame he has such loyal followers. The way he spins you right round it is almost tragic...

For seventy-five years, sweets were distributed on the departure of the Prime Minister, for the first time, sweets will be distributed on the departure of the Army Chief. Will do what will be exposed in front of the whole world..
Section 144 was imposed on sweet shops for 2 days.

good riddance!
All future Coas should be cut down to size. Honest elected leaders should be supreme....not the dynastic thugs, nor the real estate generals.
At least that should be our ultimate goal that we need to gradually work on....
