1907-2007, it seems these coins are from 2007, since the rupee symbol is not in the coin.

RBI to issue Rs 5 denomination coin to mark Bhagat Singh's Birth Centenary

Chandigarh: The Reserve Bank will shortly issue two coins of Rs 5 denomination each to commemorate Shaheed Bhagat Singh's Birth Centenary and 100 years of Civil Aviation.

The face of the coin shall bear the portrait of 'Shaheed Bhagat Singh' with the words in Hindi and English. The figures 1907-2007 shall be shown below the portrait, an RBI release said.

Similarly, the other Rs 5 denomination coin shall bear the picture of an 'aircraft' and figure '100' with words 'Years' in the centre and the year "1911-2011" shall be shown at the bottom, it said.

Ofcourse india must stop using shaheed for bhagat singh instead word "Amar" should be used.coz shaheed i word is reserved for bhutto khandan only........

Mate, we know its more for Muslims and for people who have given their lives for the religion. But in India it doesn't serve an purpose to religion. But more to the person who has given their life to protect the country.

50 , 75 , 100 & 1000 Rs. coins are for commemorative only not for daily use .
