In my opinion the best way out of this would be if IK manages to save face, or atleast make a deal with the government. I don't want IK to completely be kicked out of politics. Even though he is a bit on the wild side and not really good at politics, his Ideology and aims are not wrong and he has a supporter base. He acts as a good counterbalance to the PMLN government. As you said, PPP is practically dying. Now we don't want Nawaz and co. to grow wings without fear of other parties capitalizing on their mistakes and/or moves. PTI can serve the purpose of a counterbalance, they need to grow stronger (through peaceful methods of course, just as soon as IK realises that he lost the battle of the dharna).Good night to you too.

IK had a very good opportunity the day he got to Islamabad. They offered him all 5 conditions met without NS's resignation. Had he taken it, he'd have become the "boogy man" for the government with "unchallenged power" and everything was peaceful of course so even nationally, he'd have grown his vote bank like crazy.
But, he showed his true thick minded colors when he became stubborn and tried to get it all and got into attacking the Parliament and all. His political career is over IMO. This is history. May be someone else from his party needs to come forward and create a fresh image. But IK's got no face saving (Even though knowing NS, I know he'll give IK some face saving as he's nice. He gave IK the government of KPK too, he didn't have to). But IK's not a politician, he's just someone who can be aggressive without understanding the diplimatic negotiator side of it. And he's definitely no businessman or expert on the economy. Globally, he's now seen as someone with the same insane values and harshness like extremists in Pakistan. So his party needs a new face or something. IK won't cut it anymore as a leader. Good night, we'll debate this later.

ISLAMABAD: Police today registered a case of water theft against worker of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to the FIR lodged at the Secretariat Police Station, PAT and PTI’s workers broke pipelines in front of the Parliament House and stole water.

The latest case comes hours after police rounded up dozens of workers of PAT, PTI and MWM during a crackdown in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. PTI’s DJ Butt was also among those detained by police.

It is reminded here that thousands of political workers led by Imran Khan and Allama Tahir ul Qadri have been camping in Red Zone for a month now to seek the removal of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

"I just want our cards back so we can leave."

Others said they were instructed to turn in their cards on a daily basis, get paid to spend the day at the rally and claim the card back at the end of the day.

"I come in the morning and submit my CNIC (Computerised National Identity Card) to Qadri's people who then give us our daily wages of 300-400 rupees ($3-$4). We then sit around here all day," said Niaz Ahmed, a daily wage labourer.

When the entire country, the political leadership and the military are working all together from Karachi Coastline to the FATA in dealing with Floods, Terrorism and IDP's.

A "LEADER" knows when he has to actually WORK for the nation. A person that's caused so much damage to the country and is STILL too busy with the Dance Party, instead of going and doing something for the IDP's, the Flood Victims and doing something to REDUCE terrorism.........is NOT a leader. He's a party boy and it'll remain so. Nature can NEVER be changed.
Sad to see how people like you, put your own nation (suffering nation at that) on the opposite side to do negative propaganda for a failed march that has resulted in utmost humiliation to the country globally, and hasn't helped the flood victims, IDP's and all beyond speeches and photo opportunities.

well i am sorry but it hasn't ended in KPK. a small cop or TULA will still be taking bribes of 500 rupees or a 1,000 rupees regardless of who is in power.

Patawri registrar will still take rupees 1,000 bribe inorder to fast track your file.

So Imran or Nawaz or Zardari corruption is so deep it can never end.
