@JamD

Should we take the news of these projects with a pinch of salt?

As @arslank03 alluded to a few times... The projects in themselves are probably coming online soon, but they're not entirely (or even mostly) indigenous, at least in their current versions. NESCOM et.al are probably leaning on COTS inputs for rockets, for example, to accelerate development. That said, it's a good start and, potentially, future versions may draw on more indigenous inputs as we develop them. I think a good example was the work done on the Harbah and Ra'ad that led to the Harbah NG, Ra'ad-2 and Taimoor.

These projects will become much more sustainable if we partner with the Saudis, Emiratis or Qataris. I expect that a shortage of funds will soon begin to plague these projects and inhibit the evolution of these products.

Outside investment could also drive indigenisation of COTS parts.

Most of these are likely well on the road to induction, we should see them in general service in the next few years.

Disagree. Most are projects which were credibly reported as having been in development since at least 2010.

Taimoor is essentially a nerfed Ra'ad. Harbah is the naval version of the Babar.
