When India betrayed their promise of a plebiscite and forcefully captured IOK against the wishes of the Natives with Arms and hundred of thousands of IOK natives fleeing as refugees to Azar Kashmir, it was India which started this war when they chose to commit genocide for land instead of peace.

We we were not the ones who started the aggression, it was you first by not agreeing with the promises you made for holding the peblicite to both Pakistan and the native Kashmiris and then subsequently invading, murdering and capturing the natives of IOK with arms just because you wanted more land.

That scenario continues to this very day, while Azad Kashmir unlike IOK is free without thousands of troops holding the people against their wishes, you are welcome to visit and see for yourself all you like.

What you are referring to as "pakistan started aggression on kashmir" was actually an Operation, not a full fledged war. Secondly, War is conducted by crossing an international border. LOC is not an international border.
Pakistan crossed LOC at Chamb for Operation Grand Slam, India crossed international border at Lahore for war.

Thirdly, Pakistan started operation in disputed territory. India attacked a city of Pakistan, not any disputed territory.

We did not go there to take Lahore. We went there to not to let you do offence in our area. Akalmand!

India tried to hide its failure and planned to cross Pakistan's international border while the Indian Prime Minister had earlier said that he would open a battle of his own choice.
Before the start of all-out war, Indian Prime Minister Lal Bhadur Shastri had said: “We will open the front of our choice”. Similarly, the Indian chief of army staff Joyanto Nath Chowdhuri had said: “I’ll have a bada (large) peg in the Lahore Gymkhana.”

so Indian PM wanted war, he wanted to open a front of his choice, in this case, Lahore.

You can say whatever you want to say, but Indian PM and IA COAS wanted Lahore and miserably failed. Frustrated as unable to capture Lahore, IA attacked in Sialkot and Sindh sectors. Pakistan successfully repulsed.

Objective : Start war against India and Capture Kashmir.
Result : Pakistan defended itself.
Winner : Pakistan, because India could not capture Pakistan.

The Indian army target was to capture every major city of Punjab in Pakistan starting from Lahore. Indian General J N Chaudhuri was dreaming that he and his XI Corps will celebrate victory in morning at Lahore Gymkhanna but luck was not in their favor. Major General Nirinjan Parsad and his 15 infantry Division faced Lt Col Tajammal Hussain Malik and the brave soldiers of 3rd Baloch Regiment at BRBL canal.

And Second biggest tank battle The Battle of Chawinda was also won by Pakistan army and its armored units.

i thought no indian member would turn up for chest thumping but so wrong i was. twisted facts and media manipulation is an integral part of their society, hence the bollywood runs deep under their skins.

they were embarrassed in kashmir and rann of kach, they had to invade lahore to remove the embarrassment somewhat. Hence the media stepped in like a faithful puppy.

Well india started an invasion with big dreams of capturing Lahore and dividing Pakistan, however the reality happened and that invasion turned into Pakistan's war to defend itself against the odds, India couldn't come closer than those 14.2 bloody miles and finally war ended with Indian PM dying of a heart attack outside India.

india failed in it's invasion and we triumphed in our war (to defend our territory against 5 times bigger enemy)

What is so hard to understand? Unless you come from a deluded propagandist country.

IOK is disputed so don't try basing arguments on that.

Well in 1965 Pakistan was a part of the western alliance and India was a part of NAM. The western propaganda machine wanted to show the world that Pakistan was a strong ally. There were very little information coming from India during the time of war.

When Pakistan launched their operation Gibraltar it was a huge lie by Z.A. Bhutto and it started with assumptions and presumptions that the Kashmiri people will support Pakistani occupation. But it turned out that most of the Pakistani soldiers who infiltrated the valley were caught and handed over to the local officials by the Kashmiris. This destroyed the morale. The Pakistani army then started moving their troops to Kashmir for an all out assault thinking that the war will be localized to Kashmir.

The then Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri was assumed to be a pacifist and no one expected him to cross the International border and launch a full scale attack on Pakistan where we were stronger.

Pakistan had assumed a lot in 1965 and these assumptions did not go well for them.
