Get Well Soon Imran Khan: Updates & Discussions.

.
Uh, thanks for preserving my comment which has mysteriously disappeared. I haven't been saying IK is unfit. I'm saying you'll want to hear and see him speak tomorrow and that the medical scans should be made public - of course his supporters will say they're fine, what would you expect from them? - and maybe his doctors, too, will make the best spin they can.

Then again, if you think the scans, if released, would become themselves a source of false claims more than truth - well, even so, it's better for the scans to be released rather than phonies suddenly appearing to back up claims that IK is unfit, yes?

He spoke today.

Medical scans should be made public? You're from America, right?

I think this is what happened

The main fault was not of this guy.
The platform wasnt secured to the fork lift....as they went off balance, the whole thing simply slides off...

It was a nasty fall from height . i hope he get well soon and resume the campaing

. . .
It would have been safer if there were people under him. At least that would have avoided his body hitting to the ground.

This is getting too much now!

Sympathy Votes because of mistake of PTI arrangements?

But again, I saw strange thing in Pakistan. I was in Pakistan last month (for one month). Mardan, Swabi, Charsada almost everyone will still vote for ANP, while they all knows ANP was in government with PPP. Same case for KHI, Hyderabad, Multan, even PML-N supporters (unlike us, who can't even defend NS), will still vote for their own parties. So is it means, only those who become voters after 2002, are in split between PTI and PML-N?

this video is extremely odd...
I thought the platform on which he was standing slid off...but that didn't happen...they seem to be somehow go off balance in the wrong direction

Mr Imran Khan was seen by a team of specialists at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre this morning and they are very pleased with his progress. They are confident that he will make a complete recovery, Inshallah. He will be moving from the Intensive Care Unit, where he spent the night, to a regular inpatient room later today. Imran is in very high spirits, he has had his breakfast and is, as expected, itching for action.

The three guards who were injured with him last night were also brought to SKMCH&RC. One has since been discharged from Hospital, while two are still admitted. It is expected that one will need surgery for a broken ankle, which is likely to be performed later today. Please join us in praying for a speedy recovery, not only for Imran, but for all those injured yesterday, and, of course, for all our patients.

Dr Faisal Sultan, the CEO of SKMCH&RC, will give a full update about Imran’s condition at a press conference at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital at 2 pm today.

Yup, if you look at the picture sequence posted on the threads, you will notice that it was the guy in black shirt who was first in a crouch position, then as he was standing up his butt moved back and got everybody off balance.

Good to know everybody is okay...looks like IK is now fully well except a little pain in the back and only needs a collar around the neck. The doctors said yesterday he will be taken for a walk today, I presume they did that already.

Wishing a speedy recovery to the injured guard who had his ankle broken...

But one thing here is puzzling me, isn't SKMH a cancer hospital? Do they have ankle surgeons and trauma specialists etc?
