I would respect these soldiers,they followed their orders and fought for their country despite its nauseabond leader and ideology. I wouldn't say the same about the SS,the Einsatzgruppen and what else.

I would suggest Germany to turn the page of this part of their history,forget the stupid and unjustified guilt and advance toward the future.

We did,despite destruction and massacres they brought to France (Oradour-Sur-Glane for exemple),as of today we forged better relations (if not excellent) with them,cooperate,work together and even have a common army brigade.
We even host a german army battalion (Jägerbataillon 291 in llkirch-graffenstaden),who would have thought that decades ago!

Very true. Certain units of the Waffen SS did commit horrendous crimes and they were held to account for that, but regrettably so were other Waffen SS units as well who were mainly front line units, not Camp guards or rear police units that took part in murdering innocent civilians.

Keep in mind that the SS was a 1 million man strong army of its own and only about 200,000 (don't remember the exact number off the top of my head so don't quote me on this, however the number was somewhere around that) of its members were from Germany proper while the rest were mostly volunteers from various nationalities.

I don't know how they were treated elsewhere, but There exists WWII German soldier grave here. They truly are honored with the Knight Cross.

No where did i "extol" anything. Merely stating facts doesn't make one a part of a certain movement. You as a "Liberal" of all people should be well aware of that, or is selectively shaming others views for merely differing with yours is an exception to this new form of "liberalism".

Selecting what facts to choose is reflection of our agenda, I am not disputing most of the 'facts' you posit. I am not saying that Nazi Germany was evil and Allies were angels. Life is never so binary but given the choice between the two I am glad my previous generations fought against the Nazi regime and wore the Allied uniforms even if that side was far from perfect. I think you know the views held by Churchill but I know the thrust that Allies representated prevailed and evolved to the present order.

I dare say had the Nazi's prevailed the world would have been differant. If you are a Pakistan or anybody else less than a pure Nordic (they must be sub 0.001 in the Pakistani population pool) then you would be consigned to be decalred as inferior by law. This so called liberalism that you despise has given people like you at least same rights as the so called superior races.
