The german secret service BND is 100% sure that russian rebels did shot down MH17 with a BUK missile. The missle system was stolen from rebels as they stormed a local army base. Satellite images as well as evidence on the ground prove 100% that the airplane was targeted from russian forces. BND chief Schindler said that both evidence, provided from ukraine as well as evidence provided from russia was faked.

Since 4 german citizens were murdered in this crime this is a case for the legal system. The "Bundesanwaltschaft" opened a case now to investigate a war crime.

This gives plenty of room for new escalations. If a german court holds russia accountable for this murder, russia must pay compensations. If it does not pay, russian property would be seized and sold.
