What site did you check them in? There is 7.5% Muslim Population is France itself, according to Pew Research Religion & Public Life Project(a highly respected source) and this was in 2010. Belgium and Netherlands both have 6% while Britain has 5%(although the impact there is much more). Russia has 12% with two Muslim majority provinces or regions. Your right that some European countries have below 5% but those are only some. The major ones have at least 5% or more.

On the side note, Islam is the fastest growing religion in Europe according to Pew and Guinness World Records(they say through conversion rate). And it will continue to grow even through backlash. Remember, after 911, the number of Muslims in America began to grow rapidly.

BTW, The increased numbers of Muslims percent wise every year in Europe is skewed because of largely small Balkan and eastern European countries, who have always been more than 15% Islamic.

As far as Russia is concerned, they had historic ties with Islam as many Central Asian Islamic republics were once part of USSR. Georgia and some other states of erstwhile USSR had large muslim populations (like Cossacks, etc.). That doesn't mean Russia is suddenly becoming Muslim. Heck, they were 11-11.5% Muslims in 2000 in Russia which is today around 12%. You can hardly call that as large scale increase.

PS: This is the last of my posts concerning Muslim population in Europe. In fact, I still think Muslims like you would be better served if you look to uplift millions of Muslims in Middle East, Pakistan, BD, etc. rather than being concerned about which country is becoming Islamic by 2030 or 2040. The fact is, ever since the middle ages, there has been No country that became a Muslim majority on this planet. I know that. I was replyying to that other post and my point is that Islam was present in a significant manner even in the erstwhile Soviet Union and the Tsarist Russia. It is not as if suddenly Russia has become 12% Muslim. If anything, I am surprised that there are still kore than 75% Christians in Russia as during the communist regime, religion was hated.

High standards of living and better job opportunities don't mean that they have a wonderful culture there. Don't get these 2 confused. The birth rate of every European country is a lot lower than every Muslim family(averaged out) residing in it. Also, people are converting to Islam in a rapid way in Europe too. Thus the term, "engulfing of Europe". The immigration of Muslims of Europe is another way to engulf it, since we are already well entrenched into our native countries.

Lets assume you are doing that to Europe - but what would be the end result, turn Europe into another 3rd world region. Many localities already are. You don't have anything to offer them as change other than more of what already goes on in the Muslim world.

Now we know what they are fighting and protesting against - being overwhelmed by medieval ideology and an end to their way of life. A completely Islamised Europe would be as if apocalypse visited it..... Though, nothing of that sort is going to happen.

Vote bank has nothing to do with it. It plays a huge role in America with the Hispanic population (53 million) that can actually make huge difference in election. I doubt that’s the case for European Muslims. Who make up a much smaller percentage of the population in individual countries. The simple fact is they wanted cheap labour and their constant need for growth. Like I said before to you if you want to blame anyone blame capitalism. The people on the top can't allow the wage of the average person to increase too much.
