In simple words. I give a shit about people from afghanistan. It simply doesn´t touch me. When our aircraft blow up 100 of them i didn´t care and this never changed. I simply have no connection to them. They are alien to me. I know none have no contact to them and they appear weird to me. Maybe it would be different if i would know. Maybe not. But thats the way it is.

But now that you say it i find it strange how an opinion can change. When i was a teenager like 5 years ago i was for palestine. I was outraged about guantanamo and pretty anti american. I even went on anti Bush demonstrations back then with my class mates. Its weird that my opinion changed so much in such a short time.

This is what I want to hear not this BS about we care about the world but will exploit them and bomb the crap out of them. The Western society does treat it citizens great no matter what ethnicity/religion. Which the world can learn from, but in the international matters it is as barbaric and ruthless as anyone else or worse.

I was the exact opposite. Coming from a military background and a very conservative family, I was pretty "ultra conservative" before. Ever since I came to the USA for studies/ work, befriended so many people from all over the world -- i guess i've become more "moderate-minded".

Yes its funny. But i don´t know. I have different opinions. Sometimes i´m left and sometimes right...Soemtimes i feel sad when something like Haditha happenes otehr time i´m ice cold.

If terrorists were shooting and harming Japanese people in Japan and claiming to want Shariah Law in Japan, I'm sure I would have the same feelings as well. I can't even begin to imagine what would happen if something like what happened in France --- would happen in my country.

France is the core of the EU. France, Germany, Italy, spain...thats the heart and this attack on france does hurt so yes...it makes angry. But i´m off to training now. anyways i see japan as friend.

Japan's policy is not to allow anyone in not just Muslims and it helps that they haven’t been interfering and attacking Muslim countries. As barbaric and senseless these attacks have been in the West and condemnable let's not conveniently forget the back story.

I'm all for qualitative screening of immigrants. The religion doesn't matter, but their educational level, assets , and criminal record should be non-negotiable. Period.

There's quite a number of Persians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Indonesians living and working in Japan. No problem. They're all very highly educated, and marry into the local population -- so it's very healthy. We even have a lot of Arab college students who study in Japan -- again all highly educated and respectable.

We don't have a liberal policy regarding refugees. In fact I am now against enabling refugees into Japan. Only highly skilled , educated professionals.

Europe's problems is because of their liberal policy in allowing refugees who have no intent on assimilating -- into their borders. America's immigration standard is more --- appreciable .

Well I just checked the Muslim populations in European countries (excluding Serbia/ Bosnia/ Balkans...where Muslima were always there in numbers) and the percentage of population is very low, in some countries even below 5% and these are mostly immigrants. I am yet to see a credible link/ report/ news video saying many European whites are converting. I am not talking about a few individuals or groups.

Because, if not, and if the far right really comes to power in France (all set actually for them...), Germany, Belgium, etc. then with strong anti-immigration laws, I don't see Muslims population even touching 10% by 2050, let alone 1/3rd

What site did you check them in? There is 7.5% Muslim Population is France itself, according to Pew Research Religion & Public Life Project(a highly respected source) and this was in 2010. Belgium and Netherlands both have 6% while Britain has 5%(although the impact there is much more). Russia has 12% with two Muslim majority provinces or regions. Your right that some European countries have below 5% but those are only some. The major ones have at least 5% or more.

On the side note, Islam is the fastest growing religion in Europe according to Pew and Guinness World Records(they say through conversion rate). And it will continue to grow even through backlash. Remember, after 911, the number of Muslims in America began to grow rapidly.
