A German lady refuses to wear a religion centric dress in KSA , how does it impact an Iranian ? The host seems unaffected.

Was the lady expected to wear an Abaya ? If so why ? If not , then whats the fuss ?

That is her decision and KSA Presidential Palace is no Holier than Holy place , it's her choice to wear or not wear as she is not a Saudi Women ..

As a visitor and one who has been invited to Saudi Arabia by the Authorities, she is not bound to wear what they want her to wear there. It's up to her to choose. If Authorities there are not okay with it then they should cancel her visa and stop her from visiting recording country. PERIOD.
Just like Muslims officials who come to the west for official visits with our authorities are allowed to wear what they want. There's no issue about this one.

However, if she was an immigrant in KSA or living there, then she is bound to follow the law of the country and dress accordingly.

The point is "visit". She did not go there forever, bring 20000 childs with her and then sucks off welfare and plans terroristic attacks.

My girlfriend went with me into the blue mosque in Istanbul 2013 and she went in with her hair open. She does not allow anyone to opress her.

I can understand women Presidents or PM exempted from it. But in a country still bound by strong ultra level conservative values, atleast you need to wear full hand shirts and pants. This is the least one can do to respect the host.

I dont agree with the statement of the Defence Minister. However if the Saudis have no problem with it, the Arabs of other countries should better shut their mouth and clean their mess.

Well talk to your legislators and have your country's immigration laws changed then so that everyone has to abide by your ideals of dress and etc.
