German Cops Kick US Army Convoy off the Road for Endangerment

.
I just happen to check this thread and noticed it being turned into a pointless Anti-American bashing fest. This is not good.
You think you meant to say this thread about the U.S. and Germany was immediately derailed into offtopic Anti-China bashing by a Vietnamese U.S. fanboy because this news doesnt fit into the narrative these trolls spam every day on these forum pages.

Why is US military still stationed in Germany?

you have more dumb question?

because Germany is a perfect logistic hub for the USA between USA and middle east... all US trops left in Germany are supply medical recovery or HQ and a training area...

Logistics is one thing but the US military is there permanently. Is it necessary to have US troops stationed in Germany?

Please tell us more how a U.S. armory convoy violating German traffic laws and endangering German civilians and having to be put back on the ground of reality that the U.S. does not stand above the law by German traffic police, proves your vast moral superiority over China and respect for civilians and the law.

Not to mention what grossly overloading trucks/trailers far above their limits tells us about the myth of superior quality control and safety measures of the U.S.. But I guess someone is just going to blame everything on the Polish drivers, after all they pick up and transport that armor completely unsupervised, and the U.S. army didnt do nothing.
It proved the superiority because the US military was cited. In your China, the civilian authority cannot do anything. How the cargo was loaded and who did the driving are unimportant. What is the important is that in our society, the military is subordinate to the civilians, even to the local traffic cops.

On Sunday the Chinese military began replacing license plates on its cars and trucks to crack down on legions of vehicles, many of them plush luxury brands, which routinely break traffic laws and fill up with free gas.
Finally, after all these yrs, something is being done. Guess better late than never.

Luxury German, American and Japanese cars and SUVs with military plates -- often given to friends and family members as favors -- are one of many manifestations of corruption in China that regularly irk ordinary citizens.
Why do family members of military personnel in China rate special treatment and even fear from civilians ?

Why is US military still stationed in Germany?
Because the German government asked US.
