If the Austrians were not fighting the Italians and the Italians opened a second front on the French in WWI, Austria would have defeated the Allies in Greece. Even a Turkish separate peace would not have defeated the Central Powers.

The Great War determined the fate of the world for the 20th century. WWII was nazis vs nazis. Italy wanted to attack Germany in the 1930s to defend fascist Austria from German nazis. Italy was pushed into the alliance with Hitler by the UK and others in the League of Nations. We simply wanted our share of the post-WWI world that was promised to us to betray Germany. There were other reasons for us to betray Germany, our national anthem is about the rivalry with Austria, Austria hates us and we hate the Austrians. Those Austrians we hated are gone -the Habsburgs. They stole our Italian land when we were weak and they still held Italian land in 1914.

Italians never forget and never forget nor forgive a betrayal. Any sane Italian would never really support the Washington Axis of Evil. Only fake Italians like those found in the north, who are related to the Irish, like the US.

Too bad Japanese nationalism is being used for Washington terrorists. China should use that nationalism to throw out the occupiers.

If Italy, Germany, Greece, China, Japan, and even France and Canada don't cooperate against Washington thugs... it is not good for the goals of freedom in the world.
